Death by Facebook for Sarah Palin

Cross-posted at Palintwibe.com:

About a week ago, I posted here samples of hate filled and violent threat tweets toward Governor Sarah Palin. It was not a pleasurable thing to do, but people need to be made aware, especially since Governor Palin has been accused of being hate inciting. The "love everyone and let's just get along" crowd of the left feels warm and accepting toward every critter and human alive, minus a few select outspoken conservatives, with the main target of their hate being Sarah Palin.

It's truly astonishing how such people that would consider themselves sane and loving can spew such vitrolic acid from their fingertips and mouths. Just what has Governor Palin and her family done to them personally? How can they wish death and give clear cut methods of achieving it with no remorse or second thought?

Does not Governor Palin have freedom of speech guaranteed to all citizens of the United States of America? Yet, I have never heard or seen anything said or written by her that called for anyone she disagreed with in the world of politics to be killed. And like it or not, I cannot call the cries for her dead body to be tortured and screwed into the oil spill as a plug "free speech" by any sane American.

What? You didn't hear about that? I found out because TIME magazine's online news feed page had a story on it. Check out this Facebook page and see for yourself. It calls for "two birds to be killed with one stone" on the information page. At the time of this writing, the group numbers 119,656, fans of the page 1,000,000 People Who Want to Plug the BP Oil Spill with Sarah Palin.

Sound ha, ha, funny? Not if you read the info and wall comments. I certainly hope that the Facebook community reports and flags this page enough to pull it. Facebook itself would do well to avoid any kind of liability or reputation issues by shutting it down quickly. Copycat pages are already popping up like here and here. They should all be eradicated, along with any other FB pages that suggest any person be used in that manner, not just Governor Palin.

If this particular site is gone before you get there to do your good duty of reporting it, take a gander at some screenshots. I call this the WALL OF SHAME. And to any of the fans of that page that may chance to stop by here:  Your mama should wash your mouths out with Lava Soap and send you to military school.

Was that too violent? I was taught not to say some things.

Oh, and one more thing....it's all about the money, baby. The page's creator has a Cafe Press store too. Yeah, they even sell stuff for the kiddies. Sick.

Warning: Language Advisory

There are plenty more examples, but you get the gist. Please report and flag this page and similar ones. It is people like these that are making our country a dangerous and divided place. May God help us all.

Sarah Palin: The Shadow President. Obama: State-Run Media’s Favorite Harvard Elitist.

Several reactions to Sarah Palin’s facebook post. Many from a great resource: Doug Brady of Conservatives 4 Palin.

We've noted before in this space that former Alaska governor Sarah Palin is using Facebook to serve as a sort of shadow president, a constant counter to President Obama on nearly every issue. Palin's latest missive came late Tuesday when she decried Obama's approach to terrorism as "fatally flawed" because the administration sees the issue through a law enforcement lens rather than a national security one. Palin's Facebook riffs allow her to speak directly to those who share her worldview without having to wade through questions from the news media seeking deeper answers to the complex problems she is addressing. The goal? Perhaps to install Palin as the obvious foil to the current president thereby giving her the right of first refusal when the 2012 Republican presidential primary fight comes around.

From the moment Janet Napolitano came out with her clown statement that the “system worked”, you just knew Sarah Palin was going to have something to say about how this administration handles terror.

In typical no nonsense fashion Palin points out the emptiness of Obama’s latest statements and calls out the various absurdities of treating terror suspects as common criminals.

How is it that Palin, who the left would have us believe is a hayseed, can in three simple paragraphs so clearly state who are enemy is, the threat that they pose and the correct way to deal with them, meanwhile the supposed “intellectual giant” Obama needs days and days and days to state the obvious that the system failed?

This shows a clear sighted grasp of what we’re up against and likely reflects the fact that Sarah Palin has had far more real world and executive experience than Obama has - even after Obama has been in office for nearly a year. Obama needs to wake up from the leftist delusions about why terrorists do what they do. He also needs to lay aside ivory tower concepts of how terrorists should be treated when captured. If he doesn’t change, very soon, then the cost of his policies will be paid for in blood.

We made a horrendous mistake in November of 2008 and we can only partially undo it in 2010 - for the most part, we’re stuck with our foolishness until January 20th, 2013. Let this be a lesson to those who complain that this or that GOP candidate isn’t conservative “enough” - true, always better to have a true-blue conservative, but better a RINO than a liberal Democrat. Lives are at stake, and we can’t mess around and hope to put it all back together again later.

When the really hard times hit this year – and oh, they will – Americans will find no reassuring strength or warmth in the newly royalist White House. And in their pain and despair, they will turn to the motherly dynamo from Alaska, Sarah Palin, who spends Christmas with her family serving a community dinner in her hometown of Wasilla. Sarah Palin, who always lovingly mentions the troops and their family’s sacrifice everywhere she goes. Sarah Palin, the Alaskan fox with a servant’s heart and a lion’s strength.

By the time the election of 2012 rolls around, it will merely confirm what is already well-established in the people’s minds and hearts: President Sarah Palin.

Whether Democrats or the MSM realize it or not, a Resistance Movement is forming in this country. Regular citizens are starting to band together in preparation to do what political leaders and those in government are too stupid to do: resist this current president’s desperate slouch towards socialism and his fey, effete, ludicrously naive approach to Muslim terrorists.

Islam wants to destroy the West.

Islam is not a religion: it is a political, commercial, ideological, and criminal organization disguised as a religion so that it can use Liberals within our own borders as Fifth Column enablers of its attacks upon US interests.

The Resistance needs a leader, and we hope Governor Palin stands up in 2010 and becomes that woman, so in 2012 she can become our president.

Sarah Palin schools the state-run media’s favorite Harvard elitist. From her Facebook page Sarah Palin lectures Obama on his lack of comprehension

Governor Palin's firm, reasoned approach to combating terrorism ranks among her greatest strengths and her latest statement bears this out more clearly than ever. She is concise in her analysis and offers "no nonsense" language that cuts clearly through the obscurities in rhetoric commonly offered by President Obama.

Combating terrorism is arguably the weightiest issue falling within the realm of the President's responsibilities toward the American people. For this reason, this particular statement by Governor Palin could be among her most important ever.

[...]

It is comforting to me to know that Sarah Palin understands this threat and offers a clear and prominent voice in America's public discourse as President Obama sleeps at the wheel. Governor Palin is right to say that his approach to terrorism is "fatally flawed". In other words, any plan that is not based on an understanding of the problem outlined above is bound to fail.

It's clear that America made a huge mistake in November 2008. Hopefully the country will get through the remaining three years of Obama's tenure despite his reckless disregard for the safety of its citizens. I'm reminded of Governor Palin's prophetic warning at her RNC speech:

Al-Qaida terrorists still plot to inflict catastrophic harm on America ... he's worried that someone won't read them their rights?

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin railed against President Obama today, saying "his fundamental approach to terrorism is fatally flawed" and that "the real nature of the terrorist threat requires a commander-in-chief, not a constitutional law professor."

The same day the president met with his national security team to discuss the security reviews he ordered after the alleged attempt to blow up a plane on Christmas Day, Palin posted a note on Facebook criticizing the administration's response to the event.

[...]

Palin fails to address the fact that the Bush administration prosecuted "shoe bomber" Richard Reid, an al Qaeda operative, in civilian court, and he is now serving a life term in maximum-security prison.

WHY DOES THE LEFT KEEP BRING UP THIS POINT? The response is the same, if it is Richard Reid or the Christmas Day bomber the same mistake was made. Which was allowing them to lawyer up and than clam up.

2012 Draft Sarah Committee - $20 or $10 for 2010 Challenge

By Adrienne Ross - www.motivationtruth.com

Governor Palin's supporters who are on the 2012 Draft Sarah Committee email list have already received the letter below, which was sent out on New Year's Eve. Those who aren't, first, what in the world are you waiting for, and second, what in the world are you waiting for?! No, seriously.

The 2012 Draft Sarah Committee is the only FEC-registered draft committee, which means it's official, it's held to federal guidelines, and it's leading the charge to encourage Governor Palin to run in 2012.

In addition to our 2012 efforts, the Committee is dedicated to supporting the Governor in general. We've demonstrated that support with our physical presence at events from New York to Alaska--and many states in between. We continue to demonstrate that support with the work that goes on in our local areas across the country.

All Organizers are volunteers who believe in the cause, and we're counting on those of you who also believe to get involved. So be sure to sign up at our website by clicking here, and while you're there, take a look around.

The letter below is our $20 or $10 for 2010 Challenge. Check it out, and please answer the call.

Let's hit the ground running!

Dear 2012 Draft Sarah Committee Supporter,

We are on the verge of entering 2010, so let me be the first to wish you a Happy New Year!

2009 has been a challenging year for the nation, but one where Governor Palin has taken a stand on a variety of issues that are so crucial to America’s progress. It’s also the year of her best-selling memoir, Going Rogue. I am confident 2010 will be even more exciting.

The 2012 Draft Sarah Committee started 2009 by attending CPAC in February, which brings me to the point of this correspondence. CPAC, held in our nation’s capital, is the leading conservative gathering in the country. It was at CPAC where we were able to tell people more about the Committee, get feedback from Americans regarding Governor Palin, and acquire valuable contact information as we gained a myriad of online newsletter subscribers and volunteers. February is fast-approaching, and once again the 2012 Draft Sarah Committee wants to have a presence at CPAC.

We need your help.

In honor of 2010, I am asking you to start off the year with a $20 or $10 donation—or more—to the Committee. Contributions will go first towards booth rental and then towards material such as bumper stickers, flyers, shirts, and buttons for CPAC. Many of you are faithful to donate to SarahPAC; would you consider going above and beyond that contribution to make one to the 2012 Draft Sarah Committee as well, and would you consider making that contribution by the 10th of January?

We are doing important work, and even Governor Palin saw fit to thank us in Going Rogue. While we do operate independently of her, we are honored that she has taken note of our efforts. We want to carry on in this new year.

Please visit the website, www.2012draftsarahcommittee.com, to make your donation.

Thank you for considering a gift of $20 or $10, and Happy 2010 once again!

Respectfully,

Randy Highsmith
Chairman

Hurry to join in this challenge by the 10th of this month! Thank you.

Happy New Year 2010 from SPWB!

Happy New Year to our readers and to the community of Sarah Palin supporters from all of us at Sarah's Web Brigade and at the Sarah Palin Web Brigade! May 2010 be a year of new beginnings for all of us and our families and our country. May America once again be the shining City on the Hill that Ronald Reagan spoke of as we work to take our country back to the founding principles of our forefathers. May God's face once again shine upon our nation as we represent that which is good and upright and turn from that which is evil.

Last, but certainly not least, Happy New Year 2010 to Governor Sarah Palin, Todd, Track, Bristol, Willow, Piper, Trig, and Tripp as they begin the New Year! May all your dreams come true this year and always, and may the Lord grant you great success in your endeavors as you help lead this nation forward in a positive direction.

2010 is the year we take our country back! And Sarah Palin and the Tea Party will play leading roles in that endeavor. Then comes 2012 - and we hope Sarah runs and wins - Sarah Palin 2012!
GOD BLESS AMERICA!

2010: The Year Conservatism Reigns: A Post by Conservative Girl with a Voice

Wow, what a year 2009 has been! I'm sure I don't have to tell you how much our country has changed within the past year. Like many of you, I look to 2010 with the hopes that conservatism will prevail. I guarantee this year's mid-term elections are going to be a big indicator of just how big of an impact the conservative movement is going to have on our country, and let me tell you something, the tea parties and town hall meetings are just the beginning. In 2010, I have a feeling the so-called "tea party movement" is only going to get stronger. This movement has the power to transform our country back to the days of fiscal conservatism, fiscal restraint. I couldn't be prouder of the everyday men and women who have decided enough is enough and are now taking a stand, and I say "Thank you to you all; keep up all the hard work. We ARE being heard!!!" Continue to stand up, and continue to speak out. Don't let the left define you as simply an "angry mob." We are not a mob, but; instead, we are a conservative army!

My life has changed a lot within the last year. Last year at this time, I definitely did not see myself where I am today. Over the course of a year, I started a blog, became the San Diego Regional Organizer for the 2012 Draft Sarah Committee and a political analyst for various radio shows. I want to thank Eddie Burke of Alaska's 700 KBYR, Jason and Phil of Orlando's 660 WORL Tea Party Radio, April Liesel of Pro-Sarah Radio, and Martha Cano of Join Team Sarah Radio for giving me the opportunity to stand up and speak out in the name of conservatism. I couldn't be more excited for the doors the good Lord has opened for me. Never in my wildest dreams did I see myself looking at politics as a career. Last year, if anyone would have told me that, I definitely would have said "That's crazy!" Now, I thrive on politics. Many of you will think I'm some nerdy girl when I tell you how much politics excites me, and I don't blame you because, to be honest, I probably would have thought that a year ago too.

I have had the pleasure of getting to know so many people. As I have mentioned before, I will forever be grateful to Sarah Palin for bringing us all together. Sarah is an amazing woman who I believe is the future of America. She has the intellect, charisma, poise and sheer grit and determination to get the job done. A year ago, I never thought I would have the chance to meet her and her family. I am so excited I had the distinct pleasure of meeting them earlier this month in Reno, Nevada. It has been my pleasure to spread her commonsense message and to report the truth, which is something the msm are not doing. I am not alone, for there are several members of Sarah's Army out there. We will continue to support her and her entire family.

And last, but certainly not least, I want to thank you all for taking the time to read my blog; it means so much to me!!! You all are great Americans, and I will forever be grateful to you all for your kind words of support and encouragement!!! Again, thank you all. I want to wish you and your family a very prosperous New Year. God bless you and yours, and continue to keep up the good fight fellow patriots.

NOTE: I WANT TO GIVE A BIG SHOUT OUT TO TEXAS 4 PALIN FOR AWARDING MY BLOG THE "BEST NEW BLOG OF 2009" AWARD!!! I AM HONORED AND HUMBLED FOR THIS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT! THANK YOU SO MUCH, GOD BLESS!!! CLICK HERE TO READ ABOUT THE AWARDS!!!

Cash is King. The King Supports Conservative Candidates

NOTE: The following is a grassroots effort to generate donations for SarahPAC. Content has not been reviewed or authorized by SarahPAC.

In her last donation appeal, Governor Palin wrote:
I am going to help campaign across our great nation and I'd like your help to do it. If you are able to contribute I will use the SarahPAC donations you place in my trust to support candidates who share our core values, and I’ll work on issues that can put America back on the right path. With your help, we can bring real change to America!
2010 is a critical year for this effort. 2010 starts in less than 17 hours (EST). Moving forward, the best way to help Governor Palin shape the 2010 elections is to contribute to SarahPAC as generously as you can, as often as you can.

Let's help SarahPAC close the year with a bang, and get locked and loaded for 2010. Thank you for your support and generosity.

Flying into 2010

I hate a fly. Yes, hate is a strong word...my dad said so. But truly, I do. I hate a fly.

That fact was reiterated to me as I was reading Dickens this week. I know now that my dislike for a fly is not just due to the fact that they aggravate me. It's deeper. They are stupid.

Charles Dickens in A Tale of Two Cities sets up a scene in the wine-shop as so...

There were a few customers, drinking or not drinking, standing or seated, sprinkled about. The day was very hot, and heaps of flies, who were extending their inquisitive and adventurous perquisitions into all the glutinous little glasses near madame, fell dead at the bottom. Their decease made no impression on the other flies out promenading, who looked at them in the coolest manner (as if they themselves were elephants, or something as far removed), until they met the same fate. Curious to consider how heedless flies are!

Yeppers. I surmise the heedless flies that are currently in office do not see their impending fate in 2010. They only remember that President Obama can swat them and brag about it as he did during his famous fly killah interview. Keep him happy by circling the Hill and landing on all carrion placed before them, and everything will be fine. Veer off course by rejecting the offerings and be called into the Flight Controller's office for a flight plan adjustment.

I perceive they are told to ignore the other flies that just met their doom this past November.

Are our elected officials so very sure they can continue to promenade in defiance of the majority of Americans with no recourse in view? Do they truly see a bright future ahead for them? As they are lured into the spider's web of presidential deceit, is there a chance, a very minute chance, they feel any fear?

Gov. Sarah Palin, in a recent SarahPAC missive, stated:

"After all our travels, it's even more obvious to me that the winds of change are blowing strong. At every stop people talked about the need to take our country back. So let's do it! 2010 is just around the corner and with it will come one of the most critical elections of our lifetime. With important House and Senate races across our nation and dozens of gubernatorial races we have the chance to make a positive difference throughout our country."

Drink up, flies, to your hearts' content, but just as the maggots you derived from, you will once again be bottom dwellers...this time in the dregs of the wine glass you once embraced, in a drunken stupor, as life giving.

Impression-less. Heedless. Stupid. I hate a fly.

It's the System, Stupid!

by NYPalinPower

It's very sad to see good politicians in Washington like Michelle Bachman begging for public support while struggling as a minority in Congress and getting nowhere. This is because we have a system in place that does not support ethics or common sense in government. And the two political parties are so powerful that we are no longer the same country that Lincoln envisioned, a country of the people, by the people and for the people. Instead we are a divided country, a slave to the special interests and the two major political party machines.

Although the people are finally beginning to have a voice now with Sarah Palin, we still need to take further action to help change the power structure in Washington that has corrupted our good politicians who initially go there to serve our country with all good intentions, but cannot because there is no system in place that will support their efforts. We do not have an effective system of government that works for the good of the country or for the people anymore.

Politicians running in 2010 really need to understand this. They should not try to be another Sarah Palin. What our country does need are new strong leaders like Sarah to move our country forward in a positive direction, but diverse individuals who are willing to contribute their own special gifts, just like Sarah is doing, to selflessly serve and make decisions that are for the good of the country. That's all they have to do! Just go and serve with integrity and use common sense. And I am sure they will have Sarah's support as well regardless of party affiliation.

If politicians like Bachman are to be effective in Washington, we will need to elect more leaders of the same caliber to support them. So in 2010 we should aim to elect a better quality of politicians. Brave, new, independent thinkers who are not slaves to their political parties and are willing to stand up to the status quo to make the changes needed to fix this corrupt system in Washington. Our politicians need to be able to do their jobs by becoming leaders, not sheep, by coming together to work for the good of the country. So in 2010, let us elect those who will go to Washington and truly serve, not themselves, but the American people. This is the only way we will make our country stronger, more ethical, and whole rather than divided, by electing good public servants who will lead selflessly with their hearts and with "common sense" so that government works again for the people.

This is the formula for success in 2010 and beyond.
