The wheels are just coming off the thing for liberals today, aren't they?
Obama is at his lowest approval rating ever. You might even call it a meltdown.
Liberals on the internet and even a congressional candidate are wishing Sarah Palin died in the plane crash that killed Alaska Senator Ted Stevens. That candidate has apologized, but another Democrat has resigned over his death wish. The New Hampshire Democrat Party is imploding.
Readers of The Mudlfats don't know that Ted Stevens was no longer their Senator and were afraid, get this (fighting back the laughter), that Governor Parnell would choose Sarah Palin to replace him. Of course, Muddy Flaps' readers may have been too stoned to remember, but they voted for Begich who replaced Stevens in 2008.
Keith Olbermann is still unhinged.
Since it's becoming such a freak show (Glenn Beck read the headlines on the Drudge Report on his radio show to show how messed up our country is), let's dedicate a little number to our progressive friends who are hanging oversized "Worst Governor in the Woooooooooorld" banners or wishing our beloved, intellegent and highly competent Sarah Palin dead.
I know this one is old news, but it's still a spleen splitter:
Let's check in with our newsroom to see how the liberals are doing today:
I'm not gay, but I'm hearing some good reviews about a possible gay bar being opened next to the mosque near ground zero. Greg Gutfeld is assembling a group of business owners to invest in the venture. Gutfeld explained the project to Glenn Beck. Put this one in the "beating them at their own game" category.
Two years of attacks against Sarah Palin have failed miserably. (h/t Texas for Sarah Palin)
It was just two short years ago that the media pwned her. Now she pwns the media. In fact, she plays headgames with them. She goes on Fox News Sunday and writes on her hand to mock them. Then she goes on her Facebook page and chums for liberals. Low and behold, Shannyn Moore takes the bait! Palin was using her halibut fishing post as an analogy or a "baiting metaphor." Yet Shannyn Moore took her so literally she actually researched the fishing laws in Homer for her article on the Huffington Post! Allahpundit has more here.
Oh how unhinged they've become.
It seems the evil-hearted people go to pieces over Sarah Palin while the good-hearted find her heroic. Greg Gutfeld explains how Sarah Palin exposes idiots just by being herself (toward end of clip - courtesy of PalinTV):
Palin, an existential threat to liberalism (listen in past the 4:00 mark)?
Laura Ingraham doesn't think what the Journolisters were saying about Palin was that big of a deal? Well Laura, it looks like you reminded me to be fair and balanced and take a few whacks out our own side. Jack Kingston is a Republican Party Hack. And if we don't get off the couch and wake up, we will blow our opportunity to take back the Shining City on a Hill. This is a must read for all conservatives, Republicans and Tea Partiers. Laura, it is a big deal.
But let not your hearts be troubled fellow conservatives. We are making headway. We not only have a city to take over, but a party to take over. I'm a Republican. But I like to think of myself as a waiter at the "Republican Country Club." I'm sneaking Palin kool aid in the pantry (kind of like how I did it with beer when I was a real waiter during my college years) and I'm unlocking the back door so all my friends wearing "Don't Tread on Me" t-shirts outside can sneak in (I was also a movie theater usher and did that, too).
Then we're going to get all those stuffy suit and ties insider types who are hanging out with the David Frums and the Dan Fagans at the head table to step out onto the dance floor so we can open the secret trap door and excrete them from our party. Following that, we're going to round up the rest of the RINOs in the room, hand them a door prize (maybe some mooseburgers or something) and politely ask them to leave. Don't let the limo door hit you in the ass as you get in to go.
Then, much to the chagrin of our more seasoned, and dare I say pedigreed Republican friends, we're going to bring in some badass lady in a Carhardtt jacket wearing jeans and workboots and declare her our leader. Boy this is going to be fun.
Infiltrate, baby, infiltrate.

Palin Death Wisher Has Hell to Pay
By Adrienne Ross - www.motivationtruth.com
As you are no doubt aware by now, former Senator Ted Stevens died earlier this week in a plane crash that killed several people. I join others who have already voiced their sadness at the loss of a man who served for many years in the United States Senate.
Unfortunately, not everyone was classy or humane enough to do the same, but instead used the loss of lives as an occasion to wish death on Governor Palin. If you can stomach the disgusting, mind-boggling, and, I warn you, profane comments of these incredibly evil people, click here to see the screen shots. There is no excuse whatsoever for such ugliness. The hate is tangible, and anyone who would even think--much less say--such things should receive an immediate psychiatric evaluation. It seems in this age of Palin Derangement Syndrome anything goes. Sick.
Those who have been, or hope to be, hired by the people to serve their constituents must be held to a higher standard. They cannot get away with the kind of hateful spewing that others should not get away with but too often do. Which brings me to a New Hampshire Democrat. Keith David Halloran, Democratic candidate for State Representative in Cheshire County, wrote about the crash in a Facebook post:
Yesterday, Now Hampshire reports:

After the death wish went viral, reports Union Leader, this came:
That's an understatement.
Another Democrat hater faced fire and resigned today when he was called on his Palin death wish following the plane crash that killed Senator Stevens. Union Leader also shares this story:

Perhaps Horrigan needs to be versed on how to make a sincere apology. His assertion that his comments were "misconstrued" is laughable. Painting someone's death in a positive light doesn't leave a lot of room for misunderstanding and twisting. Sorry, buddy, but no one did you in on this one. You managed to do that all by your lonesome.
People absolutely need to be held accountable for their cruel statements that not only show an insensitivity toward Governor Palin, but a complete exploitation of a situation in which people died. These death wishes on the part of Democrats and the sickening comments in the link above are just a sampling of the kind of vitriol she endures, not to mention the actual death threats she deals with on a regular basis. There must be zero tolerance for this kind of stuff--and hell to pay.
* Finally, a note to a person/people/whomever inclined to leave a comment only when you are of the opinion that Governor Palin slipped up or wasn't at her best or whatever, I might take you more seriously if you were also inclined to speak up at least one of the gazillion times she is wronged and/or her safety is threatened. Moving on...

Just wish Sarah and Levy were on board.
Yesterday, Now Hampshire reports:
Halloran serves on the Rindge, NH Planning Board and is a Democratic candidate for State Representative in Cheshire County. He is a prominent supporter of Democratic frontrunner Ann McLane Kuster, who is running for Congress in NH-02. His comment appeared in response to a post by another Facebook user on the tragedy.
New Hampshire Republicans were not pleased with Halloran’s remarks.
“Mr. Halloran’s outrageous comments are a new low, even by the standards of the New Hampshire Democrat Party,” said New Hampshire GOP spokesman Ryan Williams. “His publicly stated death wish for Governor Palin and her family is abhorrent, and has no place in public discourse. Governor Lynch and Ann McLane Kuster need to immediately denounce Mr. Halloran’s hateful remarks and demand that he personally apologize to the Palin family.”
Halloran isn’t alone among New Hampshire Democratic leaders in wishing ill toward the controversial former Republican Vice Presidential nominee.
Natch Greyes, a staffer for Democratic Rep. and Senate hopeful Paul Hodes tweeted the following on July 21st: “I have to wonder if & or when @sarahpalinusa will learn the meaning of our state motto: “live free or die.”

After the death wish went viral, reports Union Leader, this came:
"It's unfortunate and we don't condone those types of remarks," said Brunelle of NHDP. "The comment is totally inappropriate and (Halloran) should apologize..."
That's an understatement.
Another Democrat hater faced fire and resigned today when he was called on his Palin death wish following the plane crash that killed Senator Stevens. Union Leader also shares this story:
A state representative who posted on Facebook that "a dead (Sarah) Palin would be even more dangerous than a live one" has now resigned.
State Rep. Timothy Horrigan, D-Durham, could not be immediately reached, but state Democratic Party Chairman Raymond Buckley told the Granite Status that Horrigan informed him he had sent a resignation email to the Speaker of the House's office.Buckley issued a statement saying,
"Rep. Horrigan took the appropriate action by resigning today. His comments were inappropriate and do no reflect the views of the New Hampshire Democratic Party. As an elected official, this type of rhetoric is out of line."
Earlier reports on the "dead Palin" controversy follows in this earlier update immediately below and in the full Aug. 12 Granite Status, which follows it.
Horrigan this afternoon also posted on his own website a letter to House speaker Terie Norelli, saying, "I wish to resign from the House of Representatives effective immediately, and to discontinue my re-election campaign for Strafford County District 7. I apologize for thoughtless remarks I made which have brought this House into disrepute. I enjoyed my time in the House and I thank you personally for your support over the years."
ANOTHER "DEATH WISH." Another "dead Palin" post appeared on Facebook last night, this one, the Status confirmed this morning, by state Rep. Timothy Horrigan, D-Durham.
"Well a dead Palin wd be even more dangerous than a live one...she is all about her myth & if she was dead she cldn't commit any more gaffes," Horrigan wrote.
We report below on Rindge Democratic activist Keith David Halloran's post that, in a discussing about the plane crash that took the lives of five, including former Alaska Sen. Ted Stevens, stated, "Just wish Sarah and Levy (sic) were on board."
Horrigan this morning confirmed he posted in the same thread and was "sorry for the ruckus," although initially he did not specifically apologize.
(Update: When Horrigan saw our initial post he called the Status to say "I specifically apologize." He then sent in a full statement saying, "I would like to offer a specific apology for making comments about Sarah Palin which could be--- and were--- misconstrued. She is, as far as I know, not a bad person at all--- and certainly she deserves to live a long and happy life.)"
"As far as I know, Palin is a nice person," he said. "I have nothing against her as a person..."
