Palin: Al Sharpton Says Vote for Obama Was For Socialism

A Damning Indictment: Sharpton Declares Obama a Socialist

In her interview with Sean Hannity on Monday, March 22, 2010, Governor Palin reiterated a direct quote from Al Sharpton as saying that those who voted for Obama voted for a transformation to socialism. For nearly two years, conservative commentators, analysts and bloggers have described Obama as either a socialist or a communist. When we did, our analysis has been dismissed as "right-wing extremism," "retarded," "name-calling," among others. I was among several who shouted it on the streets of Scranton, PA during the McCain-Palin campaign with the PUMAs, because the GOP which I am a member of did not have the courage to say it.

Al Sharpton, is almost universally reviled among conservatives as a leftist race-baiter. He is best known for his role in the hoax concocted by Tawana Brawley about a gang rape that never happened. That he agrees with us - that he agrees with Gov. Palin - as to what constitutes Obama's core ideology is a damning indictment and should give readers pause. Obama's friends and foes can finally agree: he is a socialist - and quite possibly a communist.

A Three-Front War

Governor Palin advocated a three-pronged approach to fighting ObamaCare during her two segments with Hannity: legislative repeal, lawsuits, and states exercising their Tenth Amendment rights. In my post covering Gov. Palin's historic post-ObamaCare Facebook Note, I said:
We will use all legal and political resources available to us to repeal, neuter, and destroy this legislation. We will work to strike it down in the courts and hamstring it with endless litigation. Our states will exercise their rights under the Tenth Amendment to refuse to partake in ObamaCare. We will vote out of office anyone who voted for this atrocity, purging and cleaning Washington, DC.
Gov. Palin said the worst aspect of ObamaCare was the complete disregard for the Constitution and rule of law. Gov. Palin said the bill had nothing to do with health or with care and everything to do with politics.

What happens if a TEA Party Candidate runs against a conservative Republican?

Hannity questioned Gov. Palin about the potential problems that could arise if both a conservative Republican and a third candidate born of the TEA Party movement ran for a given office. Gov. Palin said that such a possibility could be positive for it could force the GOP candidate to stake a stronger, more clarified position on the issues and cause the more politically correct candidate to wash out. The goal is for the strongest candidate to rise to the top.

Gov Palin: Out-of-touch Congress Sounds Call to Take a Stand

This day, March 22, 2010 at the twelfth hour and the third minute Eastern Daylight Time, Governor Palin wrote what could be one of her most significant Facebook Notes, issuing her political call to arms following the passage of ObamaCare.

Complete Transcript:

We’ve been reminded many times that elections have consequences. Yesterday we saw the consequence of voting for those who believe in “fundamentally transforming” America whether we want it or not. Yesterday they voted. In November, we get to vote. We won’t forget what we saw yesterday. Congress passed a bill while Americans said “no,” and thousands of everyday citizens even surrounded the Capitol Building to beg them not to do it. Has there ever been a more obvious exhibition of a detached and imperious government? (Palin, 2010, ¶1)

In the weeks to come, we can expect them to try to change the subject, but we won’t forget. Don't let them move on to further “transformational” steps while forgetting what Congress just did against the will of the people. Though Obamacare will inflict billions in new taxes on individuals and employers, at least it creates some jobs: the IRS might have to hire as many as 16,000 new employees to enforce all the new taxes and penalties the bill calls for! And that doesn’t include all the other government jobs from the 159 new agencies, panels, commissions and departments this bill will create. As the private sector shrinks, we can count on government to keep growing along with the deficits needed to keep it all afloat. (Is this the kind of “change” Americans asked for?) (Palin, 2010, ¶2)

In the end, this unsustainable bill jeopardizes the very thing it was supposed to fix – our health care system. Somewhere along the way we forgot that health care reform is about doctors and patients, not the IRS and politicians. Instead of helping doctors with tort reform, this bill has made primary care physicians think about getting out of medicine. It was supposed to make health care more affordable, but our premiums will continue to go up. It was supposed to help more people get coverage, but there will still be 23 million uninsured people by 2019 (Palin, 2010, ¶3).

Though they’d like us to forget, we will remember the corrupt deals, the corrupt process, the lack of transparency, the deceptive gimmicks to game the CBO score, and the utter disregard for the will of the American people. Elections have consequences, and we won’t forget those who promised to hold firm against government funding of abortion, but caved at the last minute in exchange for a non-binding executive order promised by the most pro-abortion president to ever occupy the White House (Palin, 2010, ¶4).

All along we’ve said that we want real health care reform, but this isn’t it. We mustn’t be discouraged now. We must look to November when our goal will be to rebuke big government’s power grab, reject this unwanted “transformation” of America, and repeal dangerous portions of Obamacare that will bury us under more Big Government control (Palin, 2010, ¶5).

This is just the beginning of our efforts to take back our country. Consider yesterday’s vote a clarion call and a spur to action. We will not let America sink into further debt without a fight. We will not abandon the American dream to government dependency, fewer freedoms and less opportunity. Change is made at the ballot box. If we work together, we can renew our optimistic pioneering spirit, revive our economy, and restore constitutional limits (Palin, 2010, ¶6).

Stand tall, America. November is coming (Palin, 2010, ¶7)!

- Sarah Palin

Call to Action:

Governor Palin's bugle has sounded our call to political arms. The pipes and drums are playing in the distance. The charge is on. This is our resolution formally declaring that a state of war exists between ObamaCare the people of the United States and making provisions to prosecute the same. We will work tirelessly to subvert and destroy every aspect of Obama's evil socialist agenda. Once our purging and cleaning is completed in 2010 at the legislative level, we will focus on the executive branch.

In 1034 days, we will purge the White House - all of Washington DC - of the taint that resides within. Its new occupant will be someone who leads in order to serve, not to rule. The new occupant has been summoned to carry Ronald Reagan's torch. The new occupant will put us back on the path to limited government, low taxes, national security, energy independence, respect for our Constitution and rule of law. By her hand and by her beckon she will show us the way back home to the Shining City on a Hill.

Before we go home, we must fight this war.

CHARGE!!!

Sarah Palin’s Rallying Cry: This Out-of-touch Congress Sounds Our Clarion Call to Take a Stand

Like most Americans, I sat in total disgust last evening as radical communists cheered. The most radical and destructive government ever assembled in this greatest nation on earth voted to destroy it all last night, and then celebrated!

It was vile, it was hateful. It was disgusting, and it was distasteful.

Of course, we knew it was coming. The second voters elected this Marxist Congress way back in 2006 we knew we were in big trouble. And it didn’t take long either. Historically low unemployment and the longest period of economic growth in our nation’s history quickly reversed, and thanks to policies put in by the newly minted democrat Congress, the economy faltered then collapsed. This has resulted in unemployment numbers not seen since the Carter years.

Then in one of the biggest collective mistakes in human history, American voters voted in Barack Obama. The reasons why many voters fell for this Communist’s nonsensical chants of "hope and change" and promises of rainbows and unicorns in a Utopian paradise are unimportant now, as Sarah Palin is fond of saying, they just got snookered!

Palin, and frankly, millions of us regular people, tried to warn America about this un-American Marxist and the destruction he would visit upon this nation. We knew about his radical associations and his Marxist upbringing by a mother, father and grandparents who were all active members of the Communist Party. We all knew that Obama’s mentor Frank Marshall Davis was an anti-American communist, so radical he was tossed out of the NAACP!

We all knew that Obama actively sought out other radicals in his college years, as well as later in life. We knew Obama "palled around with" murdering domestic terrorist William Ayers and his convicted cop killer wife, Bernardine Dohrn, who was once on the FBI’s "10 Most Wanted" list. We even knew that Obama’s wife, Michelle, worked with Dohrn in Chicago, and the Obama’s allowed the Ayers/Dohrn combo to babysit their kids!

We all knew about Obama’s radical America hating preacher of 20 plus years, the Reverend Jeremiah "God Damn America" Wright. And of course we all came to know all of Wright’s church’s anti-American and anti-Semitic stances, and how Wright and his church cozy up to Hamas. We also learned that "Black Liberation Theology" was nothing more than Marxism, communism, dressed up in a marginally more palatable package.

In other words, we all knew that Obama, from the time he was just an innocent child, a babe in his mother’s arms, was marinated in Marxist ideology and anti-American hatred, as well as anti-Semitism. We knew that Obama was trained from birth, by his America hating kinfolk and all of their friends to be what he is today: A radical Communist dedicated to the complete destruction of our way of life. It’s what he was trained to do. It’s how he was raised and groomed for life.

So.......the events of the past few days come as no shock to Conservatives, we saw this man and his Congress for what was he and they were, from day one.

There is great news though. Thankfully, while Americans may get distracted at times, and not pay attention to things of a political nature, at this point, they are fully and completely engaged. Men and women who have never been political in their lives are stepping up and speaking out.

No better example of this was the major protest that took place in Washington Saturday and Sunday, with only 24 hours notice, over 25,000 people rallied to fight against this unconstitutional government take over of 20% of our economy and 100% of our lives.

Do not despair, dear readers, the fight is not over, it’s only just begun. Sarah Palin issued a rallying cry today. A real reminder that we all must take a stand against these radicals and defeat them at every turn and on every level:

Out-of-touch Congress Sounds Our Clarion Call to Take a Stand

I know the communists are out there claiming a great victory, and dismissing all of us, the American people, as sore losers. It would be one thing if the communists achieved victory with great bi-partisan support such as FDR and LBJ had for their disastrous expansions of government, but you see, the American people have learned from experience that huge government entitlements and expansions as those put in place by Roosevelt and Johnson take on a life of their own, and are bankrupting our nation now. They know this ObamaCare fiasco will destroy us all.

Not only was ObamaCare shoved down America’s throat, against the will of the American people, it was done without a single Republican vote, or the vote of many democrats who actually have some sense of the difference between right and wrong, good and evil.

In other words, not only was there no bi-partisanship, the radical communists couldn’t even get all of the members of their own party to go along! In fact, to pass the bill on a pure partisan, party line vote, billions of tax payer dollars YOUR dollars, were spent bribing Senators and congressmen for their votes!

This is the most corrupted process in our nation’s history.

The good news is no one is going to take this lying down. Last night Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott announced he had initiated a conference call with many of the state Attorneys General around the country and they had come to the decision to launch a multi-state lawsuit:

Just got off the AG conference call. We agreed that a multi-state lawsuit would send the strongest signal. We plan to file the moment Obama signs the bill. I anticipate him signing it tomorrow. Check back for an update at that time. I will post a link to the lawsuit when it is filed. It will lay out why the bill is unconstitutional and tramples individual and states rights.

The Washington Post notes this morning that 11 states are prepared to file suit the moment ObamaCare becomes law:

Ten of the attorneys general plan to band together in a collective lawsuit on behalf of Alabama, Florida, Nebraska, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah and Washington.

"To protect all Texans' constitutional rights, preserve the constitutional framework intended by our nation's founders, and defend our state from further infringement by the federal government, the State of Texas and other states will legally challenge the federal health care legislation," said Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, in a statement.

The Republican attorney generals say the reforms infringe on state powers under the Constitution's Bill of Rights.

Virginia Attorney General Kenneth Cuccinelli, who plans to file a lawsuit in federal court in Richmond, Virginia, said Congress lacks authority under its constitutional power to regulate interstate commerce to force people to buy insurance. The bill also conflicts with a state law that says Virginians cannot be required to buy insurance, he added.

"If a person decides not to buy health insurance, that person by definition is not engaging in commerce," Cuccinelli said in recorded comments. "If you are not engaging in commerce, how can the federal government regulate you?"

WaPo goes on to note:

In addition to the pending lawsuits, bills and resolutions have been introduced in at least 36 state legislatures seeking to limit or oppose various aspects of the reform plan through laws or state constitutional amendments, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.

So far, only two states, Idaho and Virginia, have enacted laws, while an Arizona constitutional amendment is seeking voter approval on the November ballot. But the actual enactment of the bill by President Barack Obama could spur more movement on the measures by state lawmakers.

As you can see, the real fight has just begun. Liberty and freedom are worth fighting for and those who would deny Americans their God given right to their freedom and liberty, as guaranteed by our Constitution, must be defeated and their regimes destroyed.

We are more than up to this fight ladies and gentleman, and more than willing to go the distance, doing what we must to defeat the communists and destroy, once and for all, their ability to poison this nation with their sick ideology.

Sarah Palin is our nation’s moral leader and our inspiration. But she is not alone, patriots across the nation and around the world are rallying to her message of real hope and real change, and are making a difference. Many great voices have emerged and we have found that there are indeed real statesmen and women wondering the halls of Congress.

Congresswoman Marsha Blackburn from Tennessee delivered a very passionate speech from the House floor Sunday night:

Ed Feulner from the Heritage Foundation has a powerful message for the communists and the American people:

House Minority Leader John Boehner pulled no punches and showed us why he is ready to measure for new drapes in the Speaker’s office!

The communist party passed ObamaCare.... just barely...by using every parliamentary trick they could muster, Bernie Madoff style accounting, bribes and threats. They did this against the will of the American people. For this they will pay and pay big.

As longtime democrat pollster and adviser Pat Caddell said, this is a "political Jonestown," mass political suicide for the democrat party. And as someone who used to work Jimmy Carter, Caddell knows an epic political disaster when he sees it!

The communists who have taken over the democrat party have awakened a sleeping giant. More than anytime in our nation’s history, the citizens are awake, aware, and engaged.

We have one message for Obama and the communists, November is coming.

WE are coming!

We Did All We Could Do

The American people were against health care reform 55% to 35%. Considering this and that the Congress is made up of 255 Democrats and 178 Republicans, the fact is health care reform passed by the slimmest of votes (with every Republican voting no) against overwhelming numbers in the public opinion (you know, that thing that makes us a representative democracy). This sends a signal to the American people that our government no longer works properly.

We did all we could do despite being out-muscled by a Democrat machine that is more interested in its agenda than it is ours. But, just because we did all we could do now, doesn't mean there isn't more to do in November.

Obamacare is a major step in the direction of a European style democracy where the lines between capitalism and socialism are blurred and free enterprise is allowed to exist, but only at the whim of the government which can impose any control it wishes on it at any time. Stopping this will require that our voices be heard at the ballot box. Congress needs a total overhaul. The people must take back its most direct representational voice: the House of Representatives.

The total out of balance nature of our legislature in proportion to the public's opinion is a breeding ground for tyranny. This Congress has chosen to forget its Constitutional duty to represent the will of the people, and in the process is not putting a necessary check and balance on a president who is hell bent toward leading this country into incurable debt and an oppressive growth of government. First the media abdicated its role during the campaign part and now the Congress has abdicated its role during the governing part. We are now beginning to understand, as Sarah Palin said, what Obama meant by "redistribution of wealth" and "transforming America."

When the American people voted in this make-up of Congress, they obviously had not yet recognized that we were being led into socialism by the shadow party and the left wing of the Democrat party. Liberals infiltrated their party when we we weren't looking and now they own the board. Sarah Palin tried to warn us. Talk radio hosts tried to warn us. But it wasn't until the sheep were in the pen and being sheared that they started to bleat.

We're on it now. We're finding out that Sarah Palin was right all along. We're organizing. The TEA Party is getting stronger and stronger. The more the government refuses to listen to the people, the stronger the opposition becomes. It may be a dark day today. But victories in Virginia, New Jersey and Massachusetts tell us that we have hope for the ballot box in November.

The only way to solve this thwarting of the will of the people will be to infiltrate the Republican party and field candidates to take back our Congress and our country.  We fell asleep at the wheel once and let the media and the left wing choose our government. If any of ours ever falls asleep on watch again, it will be all of ours' responsibility to hold them accountable. This is our wake up call. This disaster in American democracy must never happen again.

Breitbart: Flashback on Obama Using Executive Power to Change Laws

This video really says it all.

Gov Palin Breaks Down ObamaCare on O'Reilly

Video Retrieved from Fox News The O'Reilly Factor

Video Retrieved from PalinTV

The Worst Aspects of ObamaCare

O'Reilly began the show indicating that the majority of the American public does not want ObamaCare. "All the polls say that." The average numbers show 49% against, 40% for the bill according to O'Reilly who noted that while "Obama will get his cornerstone legislation, it will come at a very high price." O'Reilly pointed out three problems with the bill: 1. costs; 2. socialism; 3. unintended consequences: Will there be enough doctors to care for everyone? Will health care be rationed? Will a bureaucrat in Washington be making health care decisions for you?

When asked about the worst aspect of ObamaCare, Governor Palin responded: "We've already talked about federal unfunded mandates that will bury our states that have budgetary problems and businesses that have budgetary problems and now will be forced to purchase something we don't want or don't need, and government will be telling us to do it anyway. This of course takes away so many of our choices and puts government between our doctors and our patients."

Overruling the Will of the People

Governor Palin continued: "What I dislike most about ObamaCare though is this notion that the leftists in Washington think that they can pass this thing through, cram it through with disregard to consider the will of the people, disregard for the Constitutional legal traditional processes that have thus far been used in America's processes to allow policy to be adopted that do adhere to the will of the people. If these leftists think that this ObamaCare can be crammed through without being held accountable...then what's next coming down the pike?"

Opening the Floodgates to More Bad Legislation

"Let me tell you quickly what I think is coming next down the pike if this ObamaCare goes through without politicians being held accountable: next will be cap-and-tax energy restrictions, and amnesty for illegals, and things like card check that will allow union bosses more control, and things like the taxes that will increase to pay for all the government takeovers," she said.

On the Root Cause of ObamaCare

O'Reilly countered that "this stuff happens because Americans voted Democrats in to control both houses of Congress and the Presidency....the leftists are doing this because we gave them the opportunity to." O'Reilly followed up with the question of how the American people will respond to ObamaCare. "Will the American people accept ObamaCare and move on or will they say we'll get these people in November?" Gov. Palin responded, "I think there is going to be a lot of rebuke and the repeal of the policies that the American people realize is not in their best interests. But, I beg to differ with your suggestion there that it was not the Democrats that allowed this happen." She continued saying that Obama, Pelosi and Reid have left the mainstream of the Democratic Party.

O'Reilly cut in, saying that the Democratic Party could have said "no" but they "all fell in line."

Gov. Palin said, "even in the eleventh hour, President Obama had to make this deal with Stupak and others." She said the entire bill was premised on sweetheart, backroom and secret deals and that the mainstream Democratic party probably never liked it. Gov. Palin predicted that November will bring about a rejection of the Western European style of big entitlement government brought about by ObamaCare. She added that non-partisan independents are getting it. She emphasized that the TEA Party movement, and protesters are seeing the kind of transformation that candidate Obama had spoke of and they do not like it. The United States is based on freedom, free markets and individualism.

Fix what is Broken, Don't Take Over One Sixth of the Private Sector

In response to O'Reilly's question assertion that "there are some good things in the bill"..."for people who have been 'hosed' by the insurance companies," Gov. Palin said "if the insurance companies are screwing people left and right why don't we crack down on that and not assume that the government has to take it all over - one sixth of our economy and ... falsely assuming that government can run it better? Why don't we just concentrate on those things that are obviously broken and fix them?"

Conclusion:

This interview was recorded about three hours before the passage of ObamaCare by the House: 219-212. The time has come now to challenge this socialist legislation in the courts; for states to proceed with their legislation to the effect that they will not partake in or budget funds for ObamaCare; to support candidates who will repeal this atrocity and to make those who voted for it pay by losing their seats.
