Lately, it seems that everyone with a mic thrust before him or her gets asked, "Is Sarah Palin qualified to be president?" As a colleague said recently, Palin seems to be the only name attached to the end of that question. First of all, did Governor Palin announce she's running and I somehow missed it? Furthermore, are not other perceived presidential candidates subject to the same evaluation? So what's with the qualified question? Is it the fact that she's a woman? Is it her Alaska upbringing? Is it the five kids? What gives?
Surely, anyone who is even vaguely familiar with Governor Palin's accomplishments knows that she is indeed qualified to be President of the United States. Only those who have bought into the butcher job the lamestream media has done on her, and those who have not been paying any attention at all, think otherwise. Governor Palin is multi-faceted. She's most accomplished in a plethora of areas. If you're not informed, you can get an idea of her public sector accomplishments achieved while serving as a city council member, mayor, governor, and an oil and gas conservation regulator. You can know her private sector accomplishments as a sportscaster and a business woman. You can even learn her personal accomplishments achieved in the areas of athletics, hunting, and, of course, her family life. Click here to be educated on the real Governor Palin and her outstanding record in all these areas and more.
While not saying she is definitely running, Governor Palin has left the door wide open. The last couple times she's been asked about 2012, she has given the same answer. Just as recently as this past Wednesday, in fact, she said, "I'll run for president if the American people want me to."
As for the issue of her qualification, Mark Levin states emphatically that not only is Governor Palin qualified to lead this country, she's more than qualified. Listen to what he had to say below:
Governor Palin has been serving effectively long before most of us ever heard her name. And since coming into the American spotlight, she has had tremendous impact on a wide range of issues impacting this country. It has cost her and her family greatly, but she has made that sacrifice because of her love for America and her belief in America's God-ordained exceptionalism. So yes, she is qualified to be President of the United States, and she has the heart to fight for this country we all love.
Governor, you say you will run if the American people want you to. We, the people, want you to. So go for it!
