Breitbart: Flashback on Obama Using Executive Power to Change Laws

This video really says it all.

Editor's Note: Unlike Obama, Sarah Palin keeps her promises.

Gov Palin Breaks Down ObamaCare on O'Reilly

Video Retrieved from Fox News The O'Reilly Factor

Video Retrieved from PalinTV

The Worst Aspects of ObamaCare

O'Reilly began the show indicating that the majority of the American public does not want ObamaCare. "All the polls say that." The average numbers show 49% against, 40% for the bill according to O'Reilly who noted that while "Obama will get his cornerstone legislation, it will come at a very high price." O'Reilly pointed out three problems with the bill: 1. costs; 2. socialism; 3. unintended consequences: Will there be enough doctors to care for everyone? Will health care be rationed? Will a bureaucrat in Washington be making health care decisions for you?

When asked about the worst aspect of ObamaCare, Governor Palin responded: "We've already talked about federal unfunded mandates that will bury our states that have budgetary problems and businesses that have budgetary problems and now will be forced to purchase something we don't want or don't need, and government will be telling us to do it anyway. This of course takes away so many of our choices and puts government between our doctors and our patients."

Overruling the Will of the People

Governor Palin continued: "What I dislike most about ObamaCare though is this notion that the leftists in Washington think that they can pass this thing through, cram it through with disregard to consider the will of the people, disregard for the Constitutional legal traditional processes that have thus far been used in America's processes to allow policy to be adopted that do adhere to the will of the people. If these leftists think that this ObamaCare can be crammed through without being held accountable...then what's next coming down the pike?"

Opening the Floodgates to More Bad Legislation

"Let me tell you quickly what I think is coming next down the pike if this ObamaCare goes through without politicians being held accountable: next will be cap-and-tax energy restrictions, and amnesty for illegals, and things like card check that will allow union bosses more control, and things like the taxes that will increase to pay for all the government takeovers," she said.

On the Root Cause of ObamaCare

O'Reilly countered that "this stuff happens because Americans voted Democrats in to control both houses of Congress and the Presidency....the leftists are doing this because we gave them the opportunity to." O'Reilly followed up with the question of how the American people will respond to ObamaCare. "Will the American people accept ObamaCare and move on or will they say we'll get these people in November?" Gov. Palin responded, "I think there is going to be a lot of rebuke and the repeal of the policies that the American people realize is not in their best interests. But, I beg to differ with your suggestion there that it was not the Democrats that allowed this happen." She continued saying that Obama, Pelosi and Reid have left the mainstream of the Democratic Party.

O'Reilly cut in, saying that the Democratic Party could have said "no" but they "all fell in line."

Gov. Palin said, "even in the eleventh hour, President Obama had to make this deal with Stupak and others." She said the entire bill was premised on sweetheart, backroom and secret deals and that the mainstream Democratic party probably never liked it. Gov. Palin predicted that November will bring about a rejection of the Western European style of big entitlement government brought about by ObamaCare. She added that non-partisan independents are getting it. She emphasized that the TEA Party movement, and protesters are seeing the kind of transformation that candidate Obama had spoke of and they do not like it. The United States is based on freedom, free markets and individualism.

Fix what is Broken, Don't Take Over One Sixth of the Private Sector

In response to O'Reilly's question assertion that "there are some good things in the bill"..."for people who have been 'hosed' by the insurance companies," Gov. Palin said "if the insurance companies are screwing people left and right why don't we crack down on that and not assume that the government has to take it all over - one sixth of our economy and ... falsely assuming that government can run it better? Why don't we just concentrate on those things that are obviously broken and fix them?"

Conclusion:

This interview was recorded about three hours before the passage of ObamaCare by the House: 219-212. The time has come now to challenge this socialist legislation in the courts; for states to proceed with their legislation to the effect that they will not partake in or budget funds for ObamaCare; to support candidates who will repeal this atrocity and to make those who voted for it pay by losing their seats.

November is Coming

By Adrienne Ross - www.motivationtruth.com

Tomorrow will bring a health care bill vote, and Nancy Pelosi continues to show her true pro-abortion colors. She continues to reveal that she has no interest in the will of the people who have overwhelmingly indicated that we do not want government between us and our doctors. Today she rejected the Stupak abortion solution. Pelosi has no respect for pro-life anybody--not the unborn, not the American people, and not even the colleagues in her own party.

And we already know where President Obama stands on the issue of life. He believes the "when does life begin?" question is "above [his] pay grade." He didn't even vote to provide health care to babies born alive after a botched abortion. Sick! If he can't do right by a defenseless newborn, what in the world do you expect he'll do with you?

These are the people we want in charge of our health care?! God, help us.

According to the Washington Post:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Saturday rejected an offer to hold a separate vote on abortion provisions in the sweeping health-care legislation, setting the stage for the final talks with the last Democratic holdouts.

Pelosi told reporters that she rejected the solution offered by Rep. Bart Stupak (Mich.), the leading antiabortion Democrat who proposed passing separate, strict language that would clarify that no federal funds in the proposed legislation could go toward abortion coverage.

Asked if a vote was coming, Pelosi declared no extra votes would be held to appease antiabortion Democrats or liberals still hopeful for adding their favored causes. "Not on abortion, not on public option, not on single payer, not on anything," Pelosi said. She later added, "The bill is the bill."

Democrats are close to securing the 216 votes needed for a majority when the vote is held Sunday evening, but the last bloc of holdouts are antiabortion Democrats.

Governor Palin has been fighting on behalf of the American people, imploring us to get involved and do everything we can to stop a government takeover of health care.

Earlier today she tweeted:

Shocking new questions re:whether military healthcare plans r protected under Obamacare. How will underpaid troops afford their own purchase?

She followed that up with a link to that very story. Click here to read it.

November is coming, as the governor shared yesterday in her Facebook note, the same note where she asked us to sign the November is Coming petition to let Congress know we mean business. Click here to do so.

In no uncertain terms, tell them:

Dear Member of Congress:

Your vote isn't the only one that counts. November is coming and you can't hide from the voters. Corrupt backroom deals are driving a government takeover of our health care, and I don't like it. If you vote YES on the health care bill, I will vote NO on you in the next election.

Gov Palin: ObamaCare Product of Obama's Inexperience

Video Retrieved from Fox News: On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.

Governor Palin acknowledged that some fixes are needed to the existing health care system: the ability to purchase insurance across state lines, tort reform and state rather than federal involvement. "This comprehensive takeover of the health care system that the private sector can run better than the government is nonsensical and it is not supported by the public. It is very frustrating to watch this process happen to us," Gov. Palin said.

When asked about how the bill failed to be bi-partisan, Gov. Palin said it was absolutely a broken campaign promise by Obama. Greta Van Susteren had noted that over 100,000 people were calling the Congressional switchboard every hour.

Obama Has no Prior Executive Experience

Gov. Palin cut to a root cause of the problem with Obama and his methods:

"It really reflects the lack of experience of President Obama's, which it was warned about during the campaign - that candidate Obama did not have executive experience; he hasn't been an administrator or manager of anything, so to jump into this huge, hugely important responsible position as President of the United States without the experience to know how to work across party lines and to know how to administer and to manage a team to get policy through that makes sense and is supported by the people - it's a bit over his head if you will and things are not going well, and the public is really voicing their frustration. That's what you mentioned in the 100,000 plus calls that are choking up Congress' switchboard right now. That's the voice of the people and their frustration," Gov. Palin said.

Digging In Leads to Corruption and Vote Buying

Gov Palin explained that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D) and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D) were dug into their positions with no way of backtracking. The result has been all manner of corruption, influence peddling and vote buying. "There is no other way to get this thing rammed through than to purchase the votes of some of these fence sitters," she said.

How to Gain the Support of Those Who Did Not Vote for You

"There has to be that talent or gift incorporated within you as an administrator to be diplomatic and to compromise when necessary. President Obama, and Speaker Pelosi and Harry Reid haven't been able to compromise at all. They haven't invited the Republicans in to hear their broad-based incremental type support for some of the steps that need to be taken to reform health care. They haven't listened to the Republicans on this. They've dug their heels in and that's caused this train wreck that's about to happen."

What about the Un-Insured?

"We need more health care providers for one. There are steps that states can take to [provide incentives] for providers to come. Let the states take control of some of the health care fixes that we have to see instead of the federal government thinking it needs to come in and take over." Gov. Palin delineated the steps that Republicans have introduced which have been ignored, such as the ability to purchase health insurance across state lines.

"This comprehensive take over of health care is I think the absolute worst way that we can ever imagine trying to fix the things that are broken with health care in America," Gov. Palin said.

What About Yes Votes?

Gov. Palin predicted that those in Congress who vote "yes" on ObamaCare are highly likely to lose their seats in November. She also said that most "yes" votes are influenced by vote buying and sweetheart deals.

Citizen Activism

Greta Van Susteren noted that citizens appeared to be more politically active and involved now. Gov. Palin responded that many of her friends who ordinarily are independent and not politically involved are very concerned about federal takeover and control over something that "involves such an important aspect of our lives."

"The private sector, our businesses, our families and the states can do a better job," Gov. Palin said.

Further, Gov. Palin said that even those who vote "no" but who do not voice opposition to ObamaCare will likely be subject to contested primaries.

Sarah Palin: America – Be Heard or Brace for “Transformation”

By Adrienne Ross - www.motivationtruth.com

With an Obamacare vote expected on Sunday, this is a crucial weekend.

Governor Palin urges via Facebook:

Please stay involved throughout the weekend on the Obamacare debate. There will be another very important rally in D.C. at noon on Saturday. If you are anywhere near the Beltway or can travel there this weekend, I urge you to participate. Jon Voight and Rep. Michele Bachmann and many others will be there.

Click here for details. (Michelle Malkin has a link here to grassroots organizers setting up transportation to D.C.).

If you can’t attend the rally, you can still make your voices heard by calling and writing your Representative. Sign the petition here to remind Congress that “November Is Coming.” As Rep. Boehner said today, “Republicans can’t beat this bill, but the American people can.” Stand strong together!

The implications of Obamacare will reach into every aspect of our lives, from the value of our paycheck, to the quality of our health care, to the opportunities that will be stripped from Americans as we’re shoved under the enormous burden of more government growth and control. We must stop this now. “United We Stand, Divided We Fall.”
