Sarah Palin Web Brigade: Communication, Information, Internet Activism

The Sarah Palin Web Brigade (SPWB) is a coalition consisting of a group of websites set up across several Internet domains to support Sarah Palin on the Internet. Now an independent entity, it was originally set up as an Internet outreach by the Sarah Palin Links group. It has been a team effort from the beginning.

For a list and the links to our websites, see:

SPWB has established a positive presence in support of Sarah Palin on MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, Ning, WordPress and Twitter. We are operating two blogs and have two Twitter groups. Our #spwbt Twitter group maintains up-to-date Sarah Palin news in its message stream.

Meg Stapleton said on the Eddie Burke show that they were using "education" to counteract the claims made by the anklebiters. SPWB joins in this effort by promoting Sarah Palin by helping to disseminate positive information about her on its websites. Our master list of links to information about Sarah Palin is now housed on the Ning site and the WordPress site. The Articles subtopic now has links to over 2000 articles about Sarah Palin.

Another SPWB goal is to work together with the many other websites that support Sarah Palin. Four of our websites participated recently in the grassroots Webathon that was sponsored by C4P. Our blogs represent a cooperative effort between several authors who have their own independent websites. In fact, many SPWB members have their own websites and blogs.

Internet activism is something we have been engaging in all along. While we try to maintain a positive profile that Sarah would be comfortable with, we also try to counteract the rumors and outright lies that continually bombard the Internet. Just this morning, there was a feeding frenzy over Levi Johnston's latest press conference. See our response at http://assistsocial.com/spwbt.

I would like to invite all of you to visit our websites, and if you're interested, help us with our efforts on Sarah's behalf. There is still a lot of untapped potential that we could use help with. . We welcome your visit and hope you will join our team in working on the Internet for Sarah!
