Remembering the Tragedy and the Heroism of 9/11

Today we honor the memory of those who died in the Twin Towers attacks and pay tribute to the heroes of that day and the days that followed. We also want to thank President George W. Bush for his leadership during that crisis and for his policies that helped keep us safe from terrorist attacks during the rest of his tenure in office.

Here is another video by Taylor Nelson that contains scenes, both tragic and memorable, from the day that changed America forever.

As we remember the victims of September 11, 2001 and their families, let us also remember the unity and patriotic pride of the days that followed. To quote Governor Palin in her recent speech at the Restoring Honor rally, "We are not alone. We are Americans!"

Governor Palin and Glenn Beck will be hosting a commemoration of September 11 at 8:00 (Alaska time) this evening in Anchorage. She announced this event in a Facebook Note, in which she wrote:

I can think of no better way to commemorate 9/11 than to gather with patriots who will “never forget.”
