LANDSLIDE VICTORY FOR MICHAEL GRIMM IN REPUBLICAN PRIMARY

Dear Friend:

Michael Grimm’s platform of jobs, smaller government and lower taxes propelled him to a landslide victory in the primary election for the Republican line in New York’s 13th Congressional District race.

The Marine combat veteran and former FBI agent won with nearly 70 percent of the vote gaining huge momentum in his challenge to Liberal Democrat incumbent Mike McMahon in a race that will help determine which party controls the house in the last two years of the Obama administration.

“The voters responded to my message that the borrowing and spending by Pelosi’s Congress is out of control and my promise to create jobs, fight taxes, and stand up to the Liberal faction that is controlling the national agenda today,” said Grimm, who thanked the grassroots Republican voters who propelled him to victory.

“We now set our sights on the establishment congressman who is out of touch with our local taxpayers and their call for real reform,” Grimm said, adding: “I’m not a politician beholden to the special interests like Congressman McMahon and I will fight for the people of Staten Island and Brooklyn, not the Beltway power brokers, or Nancy Pelosi.”

According to Grimm, the Democrats are so worried about a McMahon loss that they dispatched former President Clinton to the district and are pumping thousands of dollars in out-of-town money to salvage the Liberal-Democrat.

“The voters have spoken once in the Republican primary and they will speak again in November about the need for common sense policies in Washington,” Grimm continued. “They are rejecting the business-as-usual approach in Washington and the special interests which control the agenda at the expense of the taxpayers.”

“Everyone is crying out for change in our nation’s Capitol, except the Washington elite and one of their standard bearers, Congressman Mike McMahon,” Grimm concluded. “The momentum for real change has started and I will continue this fight trough Election Day and beyond.”

We thank you so much for your support.
