Governor Palin's "Real American Stories" was both touching and inspirational. Everyday Americans sharing their challenges and triumphs speaks to each of us.

One story shared belongs to Cole Massie, a young man with special needs who finds purpose and hope in his dog. The governor asked him what his next goal was. He so eloquently said, "The sky's the limit." That's the kind of spirit America needs. That's the kind of spirit I need more of. Certainly we have our obstacles, but I'm in total agreement with Cole: the sky is indeed the limit!

The "Real American Stories" debut was a tribute to the indomitable will of the people that make up this great nation. Yes, the best is yet to come.

Sign Of The Times....Go Sarah!

A sign of the times: more and more Americans are getting creative with their messages of displeasure with government and how they are getting them out there. The latest trend seems to be pooling some money together and buying advertising space on billboards.

This is exactly what Floridians John Knapp and Eddie Roberts have done. They, along with their friends pulled out their wallets and purchased advertising on a billboard located on I-75 in Northern Florida. The sign reads: "Now it's personal ...America's coming for you, Congress! Vote Liberals Out In 2010" the statement is signed "We The People."

Steve Doocy and Gretchen Carlson interviewed the lively pair on Fox and Friends. The two explain how all of this came together.

Knapp and Roberts go on to explain the have held Tea Party events under the billboard and plan to hold many more between now and November.

It seems these partiots have been inspired by a certain hockey mom out of Alaska. The end of the video says it all.

Crazy Like An Arctic Fox: Sarah Palin Joins Fox News

OK, I’ll admit it, when I first got the news that Sarah Palin was signing on with Fox News to be a commentator and analyst, I was kind of like...huh(?), but that faded fast. Like many, it came at me from out of the blue, and I follow Sarah pretty closely.

Also, like many, I was concerned about the other efforts she has going on: Things like giving speeches, campaigning for Conservatives, doing charity work, and smacking Barack Obama upside the head on a regular basis. You know, saving the world stuff!

Of course, after the few minutes it took for all of this to sink in, and for me to process it all, I realized that this was, after all, Sarah Palin, the ultimate multi-tasker. Sarah Palin, the woman who is known to have a Blackberry in each hand, and her beautiful son Trig in her arms, all the while being briefed on something else. This is Sarah Palin, who reportedly has a photographic memory, and likes her briefings rapid fire!

The Fox News gig may be the easiest, least taxing job she’ll have!

My second thoughts went to the Great Ronald Reagan, my political hero, and well, one of Sarah’s, as well. Once again, one sees Sarah as nothing less than Reaganesque with this move.

Sarah’s life really does parallel Reagan’s in many ways:

Both grew up in small towns in modest surroundings.

Both played sports and played them well. Reagan played football, Sarah is a championship winning basketball player, and now a competitive runner.




Both went to small, "no name" colleges. And yes, as the left points out, Sarah went to several. Took her 5 years to get her 4 year degree in journalism. That sort of thing is rather common in America, among those who work their way through college, and pay for it all with the sweat of their brow.

Even more interesting, at least to me, is both were sportscasters. Reagan did radio, and Sarah did television, anchoring the local sports desk. In fact, as she pointed out in her book, it was her dream to go to work at ESPN.

Of course, Reagan had a long career as an actor before jumping into politics, though he was president of the Screen Actors Guild. Sarah got involved at a lot younger age, working her way up from one of the lowest elected offices, to the highest a state has to offer.

Even there, their career paths cross, as Reagan was the Governor of a large western state, California, and Sarah was Governor of our largest and most western state, Alaska.

This deal with Fox News is just another move that has Reagan written all over it, and likely smiling down in approval.

Ronald Reagan lost the 1976 Republican nomination to President Gerald Ford. During a period of time that some describe as Reagan’s "time in the wilderness," Ronnie spent his time writing op-ed’s for newspapers, giving speeches to any and every group possible, spreading the words of conservatism, and doing regular radio commentary.

When 1980 rolled around, Reagan had build an incredible grass roots following, a group of devoted supporters that would see him win two historic landslide victories.

This brings us to Sarah Palin, post governorship.

Sarah has written op-eds for numerous publications, much to the radical left’s chagrin. I n fact, an op-ed she wrote for the Washington Post in July of 2009 on climate change and energy independence was the third most read of the year. And one she wrote early December, demanding Obama boycott Copenhagen was in the top 25. This is out of literally thousands of the opinion pieces published by WaPo in 2009.

Something Sarah has that Reagan did not, as Al Gore had not invented the internet yet, is social networking. Sarah has proven to be quiet adept at using Facebook and Twitter. I can’t think of anyone else on the planet who could write two words on Facebook, and absolutely change history, as Sarah was able to do when she took on ObamaCare and pointed out that in every nation with socialized medicine there is major rationing of care.

Her "death panels" was a stroke of metaphoric genius that still has tongues wagging on both sides of the argument, and really knocked the shine off of hope and change. With those two paragraphs, Sarah changed history, and forever wounded the Obama presidency, some say mortally. One thing is for certain, history will look back at that Facebook post as a seminal moment in time, a point where Mr Obama saw his presidency slowly start to slip away.

Sarah is also giving speeches to diverse groups. From business folks like she did in Hong Kong, to Conservative groups, to charities. Looking at her line up this spring and summer, it is a diverse group indeed.

Then there is the book. Going Rogue, An American Life was a number one best seller a month before the public could ever hold one in their hands. Pre-publication sales broke all records. In fact, the day the book was first offered for pre-publication sale, it became the number one best seller at all of the major online book retailers.

The book debuted number one on the New York Times Best Seller List, and in the end, was the best selling book of 2009, causing the publisher, HarperCollins, to order a second printing, with 3 million total ordered, so far.

So....moving over to Fox News is the next logical step for Sarah Palin. Had there been 24/7 cable news in Reagan’s day, that’s where he would have been. But until Reagan himself repealed the so-called "fairness doctrine" a tool used by the democrat/communists to control the message for decades, (something they’d love to bring back) talk radio didn’t even exist!

When one realizes what the political/media landscape looked like in Reagan’s time, where all media was firmly in the hands of the left, one really understands the powerhouse Conservative that was Ronald Reagan.

As was expected, Sarah’s first week on the job was hyped to the absolute max by Fox’s P.R. machine, and rightly so, as Sarah Palin is a ratings bonanza, just as Oprah, or the folks at Saturday Night Live will attest. Her appearances on both shows saw ratings these shows hadn’t seen in over a decade.

Also, as expected, the far left pulled out their tired, shop worn Saul Alinsky tactics and hooted and hollered. This was a twofer for them, as they could go after both of their bete noires at the same time.

They were aghast that a news organization would hire a former successful Governor, and vice presidential candidate as an analyst. I mean why on earth would a news organization ever hire someone with a degree in communications and journalism!

As our friend The Mighty Serf puts it: "Nothing says ‘patriot’ like being attacked by a bunch of dirty, lying communists!"

Now I’ll kind of let the reader do their own analysis of how Sarah did in her first week. And bear in mind, these appearances were more "get to know you" sort of deals, not anything indicative of what she will be doing at Fox, although, with Sean Hannity, they did sort of jump right in to work.

In order, here’s how Sarah’s week went:

First up, Bill O’Reilly. It went as expected, it was all about Bill O’Reilly, with O’Reilly going so far as to have people on right after Sarah to analyze his interview of her. (And praise him) He spends most of the time going over the attacks against her, and of course, Fox, seemingly unable to grasp that the left hates her simply because she exists. It really isn’t any more complicated than that.







BTW, Sarah added a solid one million extra viewers to Billy’s already ratings giant, The O’Reilly Factor.

Next up is Hannity. This is a pretty good session of analysis, which is why you haven’t heard the corrupt Obamacentric media say a single word about it!







Good solid work, in my opinion, probably the best of the three, if one is to evaluate Sarah’s capabilities as a journalist. You can watch the rest of the interview courtesy of our friends at Conservatives4Palin here.



The last interview of the week comes from Glenn Beck. This one is the most curious, and the one I personally liked and sort of didn’t like. It’s complicated....

As both Glenn and Sarah are lightning rods for all of the hate that defines the left, one shouldn’t be surprised that this is the interviewed that caused controversy.

In fairness to Glenn, he was pretty sick when they did the interview. As one could tell by his performance the next day, when he hosted his second forum of prominent black leaders, including our friends Adrienne Ross and Clifton Bazar. Glenn had Charles Payne on to act as his "voice" and to help moderate.

I say this to point out that Glenn, who usually does very well in these personal style, one on one deals was not at his very best. But this is an incredibly interesting interview, as Glenn asked questions that are just never asked. It also gives you an incredible insight into Sarah.

Now most Palinistas already know about the "controversy" thanks to a highly edited hit piece by Media Matters, the group funded by Nazi collaborator, and self proclaimed "owner of the democrat party," George Soros.

As you see, Glenn asks Sarah who her favorite founder was, and she answers "all of them" leading up to say that they are all important, but it was George Washington who she admires the most. The essential man. For the Record, this was Beck’s choice, as well.

Media Matters, which sent their butchered video, taken out of context, to the media outlets, who dutifully played the clip ad nauseam, tried to not only misconstrue the conversation, but compare it to Sarah’s "all of ‘em" answer to that hack Katie Couric, on what newspapers she reads.

Yeas, the left really is that desperate!

Clearly, anyone with an ounce of intellectual honesty will listen to the unedited exchange, and understand where Sarah was going with this before Glenn jumped in. Also, just as clearly, if one pays attention, is the fact that Beck was leading up to the real point of the entire interview, and that was asking Sarah Palin if she, indeed, was our generation’s George Washington.

With all of this in mind, Glenn devoted his radio show the next day to further discussing this interview with Sarah. In fact, one really can’t fully "get" Beck’s interview with Sarah without also watching this companion video. Beck’s commentary is fascinating here. What’s interesting is how he says that he wasn’t doing the interview for the viewers, but for himself. He truly wanted to see if Sarah, in his mind, was for real.

He gives us further insight into Sarah, talks about how guarded she is, and how she really goes out of her way to be prepared for "gotcha" questions these days. But he boils it all down to the real point of doing this interview. Again, I’ll let the reader be the final judge if he made his point here or not. But one simply must watch this video, to understand the interview.

Watch it all, for sure, but at about 20 minutes in is where Beck talks about the founding fathers, and when he sort of comes to his conclusions.







BTW, when I was growing up, we were taught in school that Washington was the "father of our country." Past that, if someone held a gun to my head, and I had to honestly answer who my favorite founding father is, I’m not sure I’d have an answer any better than "all of the above."

Each man gave their unique contribution. But more poignantly, and this is something we often forget, all of these men, all of our founding fathers, risked it all. Remember, all of these men were committing treason. Each and every one had a price on their head and faced certain death had they failed.

In the end though, I enjoyed the Beck interview, because...though they had never met....in person, Glenn has the longest history of any of the major media interviewing Sarah, having done many interviews with her over the years, and they have a good rapport with one another. It was nice to see her and Glenn get tickled at each other.




The fun part though was their open offer to Saturday Night Live for them to co-host the show. I’d be willing to bet someone is already working on that deal, as the last time Sarah appeared, SNL had it’s best ratings in 17 years, and by all accounts, both Loren Michaels and his producers were very pleased to have her. With NBC’s current sad state of affairs, I think this one is a no brainer!

I know this is a tad bit long to just sit back and say that overall, Sarah Palin had a very good debut on Fox News. Frankly, I think there is a whole lot more to it than that.

First, I am totally convinced that Sarah will run for President in 2012. She may not even know this yet, as even Glenn Beck suggests, but Sarah is that "essential man." That reluctant servant America needs.

One thing I have learned about Sarah, after watching her and studying her career. Sarah Palin does not lust after power, Sarah Palin lusts after results. There is simply no one else out there that has this essential quality. This is why I believe with all of my heart and soul that Sarah will find herself compelled to run, compelled to step in and do what is right for our nation. There is simply no one else out there with her character that is up to the task.

In the mean time, Sarah is taking a proven path, a path that saw Ronald Reagan win two historic landslide victories and become one of America’s greatest Presidents.

Why FOX news is yet another smart move by Palin

Sarah Palin shined in 2009 and has kicked off 2010 with a bang, signing on with FOX News as a regular contributor.

“Governor Palin has captivated everyone on both sides of the political spectrum, and we are excited to add her dynamic voice to the Fox News lineup,” said Senior VP of Programming Bill Shine.

Palin's move to FOX as an on-air analyst is just another smart move for someone who was criticized for stepping down as the Governor of Alaska. Since her resignation, Palin has proved she's a political contender by writing a best-selling memoir, coming in neck and neck with Hillary Clinton as one of the most admired women in America, having over 1.1 million followers on Facebook, and becoming one of the top political names being thrown around as a candidate for 2012.

Since Palin signed the multi-year deal with FOX News, the nation can't stop talking about how this will affect Palin's future political plans. Overall, it seems as if it's just another smart political move for someone who has already galvanized a lot of support.

1. Experience
Palin's new Fox gig may be key to helping her become more media savvy, says Jonathan Capehart in The Washington Post. "Doing TV, Palin will learn how to think on her feet … [and] how to debate other people in a forum with no real ground rules."

2. Keeping up with the competition
Palin is not only joining programs across the network, she's also joining a lineup of pundits that includes fellow conservatives Karl Rove, Newt Gingrich, and Mike Huckabee. FOX, which has some of the highest-rated political talk shows on cable, now has two potential Republican presidential aspirants in 2012 on its payroll.

3. Representing everyday Americans
Palin connects with her supporters because they see her as an everyday American. Palin's new gig contributes to that image, since Palin now has a regular job. In addition, she will host periodic episodes of FNC's "Real American Stories," a series exploring inspirational real-life tales of overcoming adversity throughout the American landscape that will debut in 2010.

4. Another platform
Palin has more than 1.1 million Facebook followers and her controversial pronouncements on healthcare reform and climate change have stirred a media frenzy. The sharp partisan debates Palin creates will continue to boost Palin's image as she now has a larger platform to discuss the issues close to America's heart.

5. Remaining in the public eye
Palin took the world by storm with her memoir, "Going Rogue." Her national book tour brought out thousands of supporters to each signing. You didn't expect Palin to fade away into the distance did you? With her hiring, Palin is keeping herself in the public eye and national exposure never hurt anyone's political ambitions.

6. Communication with her direct supporters
FOX’s viewers are Palin’s potential voters and core supporters.The ex-governor "is taking a page out of the Ronald Reagan playbook," says Republican strategist Leslie Sanchez, as quoted in CBS News. Reagan had a radio show from 1976 to 1980 and, like Reagan, "Palin will have tremendous support. A lot of primary Republican voters watch Fox News. And she's going to be able to hopefully put together some cogent ideas on domestic policy issues, foreign policy. It's a between platform and could lead her down the road to 2012."

7. Expanding her credibility
Not only does FOX News give Palin a platform to discuss her views to her core supporters, it also gives her a chance to speak to her critics, and strengthen her political image. The regular discussion on politics will allow Palin to expand her credibility and defend herself against the regular media scrutiny that follows the former Governor wherever she goes.

No one's certain how this move will affect Palin's plans for 2012. Some see it as a stepping stone to enter the White House, while others see it as a perfect fit for Palin and her celebrity rock-star status. Not surprisingly, FOX couldn't wait to debut their new contributor on the "O'Reilly Factor" Tuesday night and there's a reason why--Sarah Palin's debut was a ratings hit. "O'Reilly Factor" drew 3.954 million total viewers — more than everything else on cable news in the 8 pm hour combined.

Sarah Palin Joins FOX News As a Political Commentator

Early this afternoon (12:32 PM), Jim Rutenberg at the New York Times was the first to report (h/tp C4P) that Governor Sarah Palin has signed a multi-year contract with FOX news:

Former Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska has signed on as a contributor to the Fox News Channel.

The network confirmed that Ms. Palin will appear on the
network’s programming on a regular basis as part of a multi-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Ms. Palin will not have her own regular program, one person familiar with the deal said, though she will host an occasional series that will run on the network from time to time. This
person would not elaborate, but the network does have a precedent for such a series.

Oliver L. North is the host of an occasionally running
documentary series on the military called “War Stories.”

Later this afternoon, FOX News posted this online:

The former Alaska governor, whose book, Going Rogue: An American Life, became a bestseller weeks before it was released and remains No. 2 on the New York Times bestseller list, has signed a multi-year deal to offer her political commentary and analysis across all Fox News platforms, including Fox Business Channel, FoxNews.com and Fox News Radio.

She will also participate in special event political programming for
Fox Broadcasting.

"I am thrilled to be joining the great talent and management team at Fox
News. It's wonderful to be part of a place that so values fair and balanced
news," Palin said in a written release.

Palin will also host periodic episodes of Fox News Channel's "Real American Stories," a series exploring inspirational real-life tales of overcoming adversity throughout the American landscape that will debut in 2010.

Palin, often described as having the hottest brand in American politics after
President Barack Obama, was eagerly courted by both cable and broadcast networks beginning the day she announced she was leaving the Alaska governorship.

This puts Governor Palin in an excellent position to offer unfiltered political commentary on America's most-watched cable news network. It will also give her a platform from which to speak as she becomes involved in the 2010 mid-term elections and beyond.

Sarah's Right; Let's Win It: A Post by Conservative Girl with a Voice

As we revved our engines up for the busy workweek today, I hope you returned back to work refreshed and relaxed from the Thanksgiving holiday. Thanksgiving is a great time to just sit back, reflect and give thanks for everything we hold dear as Americans. I am so thankful for the freedom I have as an American. I am so proud of our brave military men and women who risk their lives for each and every one of us day in and day out. As an American, I want my military men and women to be given the best. While I believe we should listen to General McChrystal and those in charge on ground, it seems our president is not ready to do so. President Obama is going to address this very issue of troop numbers tomorrow in an address to Americans.

General McChrystal has repeatedly said an additional 40,000 troops would be needed in order to succeed in Afghanistan, so why has it been so hard for our president to make what should be an easy, necessary decision? Send the troops, Mr. President. Yet, in an all-too-common occurrence with this administration, our president is once again back peddling. And now when he is finally ready to make a decision, he is going to compromise on the number of brave men and women to send to Afghanistan? Give me a break. This is not only outrageous, but deeply disturbing. We are not talking about compromising on the number of side dishes to prepare for Christmas dinner; instead, we are talking about the lives of our Military men and women. Obama is expected to announce, tomorrow, that 30,000 additional troops will go to Afghanistan. This is an important number because this number is 10,000 less than General Stanley McChrystal originally requested weeks ago (McChrystal requested 40,000). I am outraged that President Obama is choosing to compromise when we are talking about the lives of so many. While this is very upsetting, it is also unfortunate that Obama is not sending the entire 30,000 troops right away. Instead, he is expected to send 9,000 Marines to southern Afghanistan first with others to eventually follow. I fully agree with why senators like Jon Kyl of Arizona are so worried about this. According to Fox News:

"The speed of deployment worries Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., who said Sunday that a phased deployment will not force rapid change as the surge in Iraq did and will create more problems, as Vietnam demonstrated: "You need to put in everybody you can as quickly as you can and deliver a knockout punch to the enemy," Kyl told "Fox News Sunday."

Kyl is right in his assessment. The surge was successful, so why wouldn't we repeat this action again? Obama is playing with fire if he really thinks compromising will bring us victory in Afghanistan. I have to wonder if Obama knows the full implications of the decision he is about to make. I have to wonder if Obama really wants to win the war in Afghanistan. I never thought I would have these of fears, but I seem to have cause to be alarmed.

I know I am not alone in my reasoning, for I know many of you agree with me. Sarah Palin is also speaking out on President Obama's scheduled announcement regarding Afghanistan troop levels. As a former governor, Sarah knows what it's like to oversee our troops. While she was governor, she was the commander-in-chief of Alaska's National Guard. Sarah also knows firsthand what the families of our awesome men and women in uniform go through every time they have to say goodbye to a family member. As you all know, Sarah's oldest child, Track, serves in the Army. President Obama may be ready to compromise the lives of our brave men and women in an attempt to appease to his liberal base, which by the way, I guarantee would be upset if even one troop member was sent off to war, but Sarah knows better. She knows the generals on the ground know what's best. Why can't Obama listen to his generals and Sarah for once? Until our president and his administration begin to listen to those who know best, he is walking a very fine line. For goodness sake, this is an important decision that will either result in success or failure. Our troops deserve better. I stand with Sarah as she stands solidly beside our good men and women in uniform. Thank you, Sarah, for speaking out on this very important issue and always supporting our troops and putting them first, and thank you to our brave men and women in uniform for their tireless service to our country.

Sarah Palin: If We're In It, Lets Win It

As Thanksgiving festivities wind down we contemplate all we have to be thankful for as free Americans! We head into the Christmas season wishing for leadership in Washington that reflects our commitment to the values and ideals that have built the freest and most prosperous and generous nation on earth.

Heading into December and Tuesday's announcement of our nation's strategy in Afghanistan, I ask the President to reassure us that the administration is in this War on Terror to win.

And I'll pass along the following from Harold B. Estes, a 95-year-old member of the Greatest Generation: "I realize you never served in the military and never had to defend your country with your life, but you're the Commander-in-Chief now, son. Do your job. When your battle-hardened field General asks you for 40,000 more troops to complete the mission, give them to him. But if you're not in this fight to win, then get out."

Big Boys Don't Cry: A Post by Conservative Girl with a Voice

Fox News is under attack by the Obama Administration once again. Remember when President Obama sat down with all of the major networks' morning political shows except for Fox last month? After this happened, Fox's Chris Wallace called the administration “the biggest bunch of crybabies I have dealt with in my 30 years in Washington.” In true Obama style, it seems as if since he cannot stand the heat, he is staying out of the newsroom- literally. While all of the mainstream media (msm) are in the tank for their Messiah, the Fox News Channel is the only major network who is actually standing strong against this administration. Instead of pandering, slobbering, fainting and getting all tingly over the sight of our president, FNC is actually doing its job. Yet, this is the exact opposite of what the administration wants it to do. Sorry, Mr. President, but it doesn't look like Fox cares how much it hurts your feelings because they have a job to do in actually reporting the news.



When President Obama and crew took over the White House, I sure hope they brought along with them some boxes of pacifiers and blankets because the members of this administration have become a bunch of crybabies as Wallace was so correct in asserting above. It seems as if we live in an over emotional age in which everyone has become prone to whining and complaining. The members of the Obama Administration are responsible for this because they want everyone on a level playing field. If you work hard to purchase a home, then they want the same for the Henrietta Hugh's of this world. It doesn't matter how hard you worked for that house or car, everyone should get the same even if you didn't work for it. This "Can't we all just get along?" mentality goes for the media now too, I suppose.




Just imagine what would have happened if George W. Bush had complained about the treatment he received from the msm? Unlike Obama, he would have been attacked endlessly and accused of trying to get the media into his good graces. Yet, we live in the age of Obama in which he expects us to play by his rules and on his schedule. This is exactly what he expects, and the msm have already fallen head over heels. In the process of falling, any ounce of credibility remaining drained from their liberal bodies.




The America I know and love seems to have transformed into the land of Obama where we have only one option: Obama's way. In the land of Obama, journalists get awards for tearing other politicians down. In the land of Obama, journalists get thrills up their legs and tears in their eyes when they catch a glimpse of him. Oh, yeah, and I can't forget that in the land of Obama's, journalists get taught how to properly sneeze too. In this oh-so-wonderful Obama Utopian society, everyone is going to be "A-Okay" just as long as you play by the One's rules.




This latest stunt of taking on the Fox News Channel comes after "The New York Times" quoted White House Communications Director Anita Dunn who had this to say about Fox:

"We’re going to treat them the way we would treat an opponent.”



As someone who studied journalism in college, I learned all about objectivity and fairness. My professors made sure to reinforce the importance of making sure to "always ask the tough questions," and to make sure to "always ask the five W's of journalism (who, what, when, where, why)." Furthermore, I was never taught that it was appropriate behavior to incite getting chills or tingles up any body part- but them again, I only went to San Diego State, not some liberal-leaning elite college like our president or the journalists I'm about to mention. It is very clear when the David Shusters, Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermanns, Katie Courics, Norah O'Donnells, Rick Sanchez's, and Rachel Maddows of this world lost their way, as it is with so many other so-called journalists of today. One man changed how journalism will forever be seen, and his name is Barack Obama. As we saw during the 2008 presidential campaign, these journalists just couldn't get enough of Obama, and we continue to see the media in a trance-like state in which they feel that it is their duty to build him up.



I hate to break it to individuals like Ms. Dunn, but the media, ALL media should be your administration's opponents. The media are supposed to hold individuals accountable, but the Obama Administration views itself as an exception to the rule. What is this world coming to when individuals are no longer free to question? You see, the Obama Administration expects the media to be good little soldiers and walk in lock step with the administration as it does its dirty work. Yet, Fox is not going to fall prey to Obama and his Chicago way. In questioning the administration, Fox is doing the job that ALL journalists are supposed to do. These in-the-tank journalists are not stupid, for they know what they are doing. In appeasing to President Obama, these liberal journalists have foregone their station of reporting in favor of the handouts and glitz and glamour. In keeping in lock step with this president, these journalists are not only looking like idiots, but they are virtually killing their networks as more and more people are turning away from their tabloid journalism and setting their televisions to Fox.




By treating Fox as an opponent, Obama is going to find out just how powerful this network really is. Fox is #1 for a reason, and they go above and beyond to be fair and objective. Now, don't get me wrong, Fox is not perfect, but at least the majority of the facts of the day are shared with viewers, which is a far cry from the loony bin that is the msm. Maybe it's time for President Obama and his administration to take some much-needed advice of Sarah Palin and develop some thick skin. Not only was Sarah attacked unfairly and horrendously during the campaign, but she continues to be mocked and ridiculed just because she dares to question our president. When she is attacked, does she have a temper tantrum, then run and hide in a corner? No. She presses on and continues to stand up and speak out. Our president has yet to learn that the media's job is to report; after all, the news' media are not "People" or "Us Weekly," and last I checked, this was America, not Candy Land. We can't all have our way, so, Mr. President and friends, take those pacifiers out of your mouths, cheer up and in the words of Sarah, a true warrior, grow "some thick skin." For, until you do, you will find, just as there's no crying in baseball, there's no crying in Washington.
