MSNBC’s Hit Piece On Sarah Palin Wins "Coveted" Captain Louis Renault Award

So I wake up Friday morning to read multiple silly hit pieces on Sarah Palin. I’m wondering why this is coming on a Friday before the Super Bowl. A day normally held with almost religious reverence by those that follow the sport, and most certainly a day that news outlets run a nauseating level of stories about the game and everything surrounding it.

For the record, I’m OK with that, because it’s also Speed Weeks in Daytona and I fully expect to be bombarded by that near religious experience for the entire next week, leading up to the Daytona 500. And of course, the boys and girls will be going over 320 MPH in Pomona next weekend, as well, at the 50th Annual NHRA Winternationals.

We’re dealing with a lot of stuff here! Serious stuff!!.

So I’m wondering just why in the world the lamestream media is set at DefCon 2. Why are they throwing every silly non-story they can about Sarah Palin hoping something will stick?

Then I remembered, Sarah is giving the keynote address at the Tea Party Convention in Nashville on Saturday night. You remember the Tea Party Convention, the one operatives on both the left and the right tried to scuttle? The one"they" said would never work, or "was in trouble" ?

Yeah, that one, the one that is completely sold out and filled with happy, excited patriots!!

The media, progressives (yeah, I know, one in the same) and the old guard Republicans are losing their ever loving minds because Sarah Palin will be speaking live to the nation tonight from the Tea Party Convention. Millions upon millions will tune in to see America’s real leader give her version of the State of the Union.

So....the media is going all out! Nothing is too dumb, too petty, or too just downright silly to try to smear America’s Governor with.

This one wins the prize hands down though!

You see, the media is shocked, shocked to find that Sarah Palin’s husband, Todd, actually gave her some advice! Actually offered his opinion on a thing or two. MSNBC, and others seem genuinely bewildered that someone would give their spouse advice! That a married couple would actually talk!

So what is the catalyst for this smear? Well it seems some 3000 personal e-mails from Sarah’s time as Governor have been released to the media. As expected, most of it is rather boring stuff. Of course, sprinkled in the mix is the "First Dude’s" opinion on things.

Of course, this is where MSNBC thinks they got ‘em. It’s the strawberries, the strawberries, I tell you, they got ‘em with the strawberries!

Let me also proudly bestow the Captain Phillip Francis Queeg Award on these idiots while we are at it!

The idea that leaders in business and government don’t talk to their spouses about important, and even minor things at work is ludicrous. Of course they talk! Ever heard the saying "behind ever great man there is a great woman" ? Well it also seems that behind this great woman is a great man!

It seems to me that not that long ago we were celebrating a certain President and his wife as a "buy one, get one free" sort of deal. You know: "Elect me, and get Hillary for free!"

At least Todd never led an effort to "reform health care." Never botched one either!

Oh, and I don’t think Alaska has a "travel office."

Of course, Barack Obama was going to send Michelle out to help shill for his health care "reform" but was afraid too many people would find out about the patient dumping scheme Michelle, Valerie Jarrett, and David Axelrod cooked up for the Chicago hospital she worked at.

Ooops!

Read more here.

We could go down the list of First Ladies, from Laura Bush to Martha Washington, and you’ll find every one had some sort of input on things, and every President, at least in modern times, openly acknowledged their participation and support. In fact, the President’s praise is almost expected.

You think this sort of thing doesn’t also go on with the Chief Executives of every state as well?

What really, really, really makes this story a double award winner though is the fact that MSNBC quotes noted "cleavage inspector" Andree McLeod, the "falafel lady."

Anyone who even has a passing knowledge of Alaskan politics and Sarah Palin knows who Andree is. She was filing crazy ethics complaints against Governor Palin before Obama’s Alaska Mafia made it cool!

Much of Andree’s lunacy comes from the fact that she has been repeatedly denied a job working for the state. Nothing say "hire me" like being a serial stalker, ya know!

As you can read here, the woman is a couple of bubbles off plumb!

It sort of figures MSNBC would use such an impeachable source, doesn’t it.

Really sad.

The hate bloggers over at the Huffington Post chimed in on this deal as well, but they are just so boorish, they don’t deserve an award.

For his part. Sarah’s attorney, Thomas Van Flein, who had to be fighting the urge to just burst out laughing at the mass stupidity exhibited by the media, released a statement:

A recent article discusses what purports to be a new "revelation" that Todd Palin was a "powerful first dude." To most Alaskans, and to the millions of people who read "Going Rogue" this is neither new nor a revelation. Like many married couples, including political 'power couples,' it is common for a spouse to play the role of key advisor to the other spouse. The Palins were no different. Todd Palin had official and unofficial duties, but one thing was clear: he was a key advisor to Governor Palin and involved in her efforts to improve the State of Alaska. Officially, in addition to the duties traditionally expected of the spouse of the Governor, Todd Palin was put in charge of a Workforce Development commission with the goal of increasing vocational education opportunities and awareness. But unlike some spouses of elected officials, Todd Palin did not travel with an entourage, had no designated office, had no title other than "First Dude", received no pay, and had no staff. He donated his time to the people of Alaska by assisting the Governor. Each spouse of the chief executive is free to define his or her own role. From the policy oriented Hillary Clinton, to the more traditional and charitable work of Laura Bush, to the combined policy/traditionalist role of Michelle Obama, the first spouse takes on the duties within their interests and within the context of their marriage to the chief executive. Todd was no different.

What is interesting is that the same media outlet that today breathlessly reports how close the Palins were while Sarah Palin was Governor--too close for at least one reporter--earlier reported that the Palins were not close enough and headed for divorce. Consistency is not necessarily a hallmark for investigative journalists, but certainly truth should be. Let's look at the most serious accusation made. The article posits that Todd Palin "passed financial information marked 'confidential' from his oil company employer to a state attorney." The author clearly implies that Todd Palin, who was not a member of the British Petroleum management team, obtained secret "financial" information and surreptitiously gave it to a State assistant attorney general. The true facts are as follows: Todd Palin received an email from a third party (an email that was apparently making the rounds in Alaska) and he forwarded that to a state attorney on August 29, 2007. But the information in the email itself was dated February 19, 2004--three and half years earlier--and the information addressed safety performance for 2003 and overall productivity. Of course, as a highly regulated producer in Alaska, this is largely the same information provided to state regulatory agencies, taxing authorities, and even publicly disclosed to its shareholders. See BP Annual Report and Accounts 2003. The latter part of the email referred to performance data for 2005 again analyzing production, costs and safety. So there are two distinct errors in the article: (1) the email itself was circulating in Alaska and was simply forwarded to Todd by a third party, it was not an email that was sent by BP to Todd Palin wherein he was told it was "confidential" and (2) the type of information within the email was years old and all, if not most, was a matter of public record under the tight regulatory strictures BP operates under and its release of data to shareholders, securities regulators, the department of Revenue, and the state oil and gas commission, among others.

The bottom line is that this story reveals nothing new. Todd Palin was, and remains, a close advisor to the Governor. Those in the administration knew this, and the public knew this. There is nothing unusual, untoward or inappropriate for a spouse of a chief executive to provide guidance, input and hands on assistance.

- Thomas Van Flein, Personal Attorney for Sarah Palin

Tommy Report over at Conservatives For Palin has more on this, here.

In closing, congratulations to MSNBC, you have once again proved how irrelevant you, and the rest of the corrupt, Obamacentric have become. While you and yours are in full panic mode, we are getting ready to kick back and enjoy Sarah Palin’s State Of The Union speech tonight that will be carried live on Fox News, CNN, and many other outlets.

I’m sure your viewers will be enthralled by Lockup: Pendleton and Lockup: Raw, which you have scheduled to run during that time period.

USA Today/Gallup: Sarah Palin, Hillary Clinton The Two Most Admired Women In America

This is a new USA Today/Gallup poll out there that shows something very interesting. When asked, Americans chose both Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton as the two women they admire the most.

Lets take a look at this, as I think it says some very interesting things about America. First, without a doubt, both Sarah and Hillary are feminist icons. They are both hard core, successful women. Both tough as nails.

No surprises in the way the polling shakes out, either. Gallup asked 1025 adult Americans to rate their most admired. These two came out on top in basically a dead heat, considering the +/- 4 point margin of error.

What woman living today do you admire the most?

Hillary Clinton......................16%

Sarah Palin...........................15%

Oprah Winfrey...............8%

Michelle Obama.............7%

Condoleezza Rice.......2%

Queen Elizabeth..........2%

Margaret Thatcher...1%

Maya Angelou.........1%

Of course, this was pretty partisan, as both ladies got the bulk of their support from their particular political parties, which is why this poll fascinates me. It’s a good look at how both liberals and conservatives look at the world.

It should be noted too, that more Republicans were apt to admire Hillary Clinton than democrats were to admire Sarah Palin. Roughly 6 percent of the Republicans asked admired Hillary, while only 1 percent of the democrats admired Sarah. Again, several things come into play here, at least in my mind. One, Conservatives, and Republicans are generally more open minded, and democrats are more apt to follow the party line, no matter what. One also has to factor in education and how informed Conservatives generally are vs democrats.

Frankly, you can count me in the list of those that has at least some admiration for Hillary Clinton. I blame our friends at HillBuzz.org for this! (Just kidding, these are some of the best folks out there. They honestly do have me looking at Clinton in a different light!)

I don’t agree with her on many issues, and sometimes have my doubts about her competency, but compared to most democrat/communist party members, she comes out looking pretty good. She’s by far the most competent member of the Obama administration.

One thing that fascinates me, especially considering both of these women truly are feminist icons, is how they got there. I also think it says a bit about Conservatives and liberals. And what matters to them.

First lets look at Hillary. Frankly, you know you are an icon, when you only need a first name, something both Hillary and Sarah pull off well! Mention either one, and people know who you are talking about, though, I give Hillary the edge here, as she’s enjoyed this status longer.

Hillary took a rather conventional path to her place in the world, even for a feminist. She met Bill in college, got married and started a family. Hillary has a degree in law, and was a practicing attorney. Of course, Bill was the politician and star of the family from the start. As he worked his way through Arkansas politics, she worked and raised their daughter. Then of course, she became First Lady of Arkansas, and then, of course, First Lady of the United States. And, no doubt, she was one of the more outspoken and active presidential spouses. Of course, like in any family, the wife is most certainly a husband’s strongest, most trusted adviser.

After Bill’s time in office was over, Hillary certainly made the most of her opportunity. She was able to use her time as First Lady to make a successful bid for the United States Senate, using that time honored tradition of trading on her successful husband’s name to get her foot in the door, and then her own ability to cross over the threshold.

This is not to take anything away from her either, it just is what it is. Hillary worked hard in the Senate, and proved that she hard earned a shot at the presidency, at least to those who support her. And she was considered the front runner. If not for Obama, she might indeed by the one sitting in the Oval Office right now. Personally, I think we’d be better off!

But she still did well, and while Obama didn’t choose her as Vice President, probably out of fear of being overshadowed, she was chosen as Secretary of State, not exactly a bad thing.

Sarah’s life and path was a little different. She was more of an athlete, and dreamed of being a sportscaster at ESPN. She was a leader even then, and as team captain, led her high school team to a state championship.

She met and married her high school sweetheart. A hard working, ruggedly handsome guy with whom she has five beautiful children. He would go one to be her trusted adviser, Sarah also put herself through school, working several jobs, as well as earning some scholarships. This, of course, is why it took her longer than many of her peers in politics. She has a degree in journalism.

Like most of us, she went to work. Among other things, she worked as a commercial fisherman, with Todd. A tough, physical, but rewarding profession. She’s the complete outdoorsman who hunts, fishes, and loves to run every chance she gets.

Finding a need to serve, she became interested in politics, and steadily went from a seat on the city council to Mayor, then made an unsuccessful run at Lt Governor, which led to a position as the state’s chief energy and environmental regulator, and that of course, led her to becoming one of America’s most successful Governors, which found her in the 2008 presidential race, as the VP nominee. Her path was that of a self made woman who really had no family or spousal name to trade on. Of course, she did enjoy the support of her entire family, all along the way.

Oh, and she got to be a sportscaster, as well. At least at the local level.

Two different paths, by two different feminine and feminist icons. That’s what makes this such an interesting poll, one that is interesting to contemplate.

This of course, brings both Hillary and Sarah to 2008 and the presidential election. Neither were successful in the respective bids, but both have endured.

Like Sarah Palin, Hillary was savaged by Barack Obama and his Chicago street thug tactics. They went after both her and Bill, America’s "first black President" as he was lovingly called by the dems until Obama showed up on the scene. With a new golden boy though, the Clintons, once the most powerful force in democrat politics, were now racists, "straight up", as Janeane Garofalo would say.

Of course, that wasn’t even a good warm up for what the Obama slime machine had ready to go after Sarah with. Frankly, you would have thought Sarah was the Presidential candidate, and John McCain didn’t even exist. Throughout the campaign, the real contest was between Obama and Palin. Those were the two who were always compared, McCain was almost an afterthought. And frankly, considering just how poorly McCain’s "all-star" campaign performed, and how severely they restricted Palin, never allowing Sarah to just be Sarah, It was a smart strategy by Obama and his team.

Other than that one odd breakdown though where Hillary cried a bit, maybe for effect, maybe just out of sheer frustration, she endured the hate piled on her by the Obama campaign, the ultra-left wing radicals that now make up the party’s base, as well as the entire media.

Then she went to work for Obama, becoming Secretary of State, third in line to the presidency. Not too shabby.

Sarah also endured. Frankly though, and I’ve said this before, and surely will say again, in the 50 years I wandered this planet I have never seen the effort to destroy someone that I have seen thrown at Sarah Palin. You had everything Obama and his weasels could throw together, the most vile, ugly, dirtiest Chicago style hate and slime they could muster, followed by an over the top assault by the dishonest media, and of course, the recruitment, by the campaign, and then continued coordination from the White House after the election, of the Alaska Mafia., the radical bloggers and serial ethics charge filers.

Sarah of course, after watching Obama and the Mafia make her job in Alaska totally undoable, as they stole millions in taxpayer dollars, famously stepped down from office, in what is turning out to not only be an incredibly smart and self sacrificing move for Alaska, but also the shrewdest political move most of us have ever seen. This truly shows that Sarah has incredible political instincts.

Since stepping down, Sarah has become a record setting, best selling author, who is in her fifth straight week atop the New York Times Best Seller List, the spot she debuted in.

Sarah has also become the most popular Conservative in America, hit the talk show circuit, even doing a gag with Conan and Bill Shatner, and is now considered the absolute favorite to win the 2012 GOP nomination, as well as the presidency.

More importantly though, is the fact that just as the Obama campaign never let up on her, even after the election, she never let up on Obama. Unrestrained by the McCain campaign, and just being herself, Sarah has been on the attack ever since. No quarter is given to Obama, Congress or any of their insane ideas.

Sarah has turned a social network into her personal domain, and her every note to her over 1 million Facebook supporters is picked up by all of the news media and quoted world-wide. She has shown a knack for condensing relatively complicated issues down to their rawest, simplest forms for maximum impact.

Her first comment on ObamaCare and the inevitable rationing of health care, especially to the elderly, disabled, and chronically ill, birthed what might be the most important phrase of the year, if not the decade. "Death panels" will forever be the phrase most associated with ObamaCare.

Of course, as with everything Sarah, "death panels" stirred incredible controversy. (Hint: it was supposed to) Those on the left called her every name in the book, some even printable. So strong was the attempt to discredit her, the President actually felt he had to single her out, little Sarah from Wasilla, a private citizen, in his joint session in front of Congress. The dog and pony festival of lies he put on back in the summer that prompted Congressman Joe Wilson to actually call him on it, giving us the decade’s second best phrase "you lie!" This one is used often now after Obama says anything more complicated and involved than "good morning" or "hello."

Anyhow, not only did she drive the democrat/communists crazy with this incredible succinct and accurate description of health care rationing, she also embarrassed the Rockefeller, country club, RINO wing of the Republican Party. Of course, embarrassing milquetoast moderates is fairly simple.

Now some tried to make it complicated, or were just dumb, or maybe they were trying to muddy the waters, by claiming it was all about "end of life counseling, which is certainly a troubling issue, but not where she was going.

In the end, two things have happened, the far left St Petersburg, Florida newspaper proclaimed "death panels" the "lie of the year" while simaltaniously Senate Majority Leader, and hack, Harry Reid placed a questionable provision in his version of ObamaCare that would make it nearly impossible to take the "death panels" out of the picture...ever!

Funny how liberals always try and have it both ways! "There’s no such thing as ‘death panels’ and oh, by the way, it is now impossible (and illegal) to take the ‘death panels’ out of ObamaCare!"

For her part, where most people would have backed down, Sarah managed to mention death panels every chance she got! In her latest, she mentioned them no less than four times, shoving those "death panels" right up their...... well......you know where!

Long story short, Sarah has shown she is not afraid to fight what she believes in. To put it all out there, not hold back, or play it safe. She has proven she is politically courageous where others are incredibly timid. These are not the times for timidity and political cowardice.

We have seen some really interesting turns too. The media is acting a little different, treating her more seriously, even somewhat complementary. And not just the conservative media. A lot of this is because people are realizing what a complete and total disaster Obama is. He has managed to not only further anger conservatives, and totally alienate the so-called independents, he’s even got many of the far left slingin’ snot!

You really, really have to work hard to completely and absolutely piss everyone off , so congratulations Obama, you’ve not only found your true calling, you’ve managed to unite the country, just not in the way you imagined!

Again, what we are witnessing, with Sarah, is two fold. Part of this is her finally being able to be herself, and make her case to the American people, on her terms. Turns out, she incredibly good at that.

Second is all of those drunk on hopenchange are now sobering up and have one hell of a hang over. They are realizing that every single prediction Sarah made at her RNC speech, as well as on the stump, has come to pass. Now is the time for the big "I told ya so!"

This is leading to wild editorials from liberals such as David Michael Green, a professor of political science at Hofstra University in New York, where he says things like this:

You know, I've really been trying not to write an article every other week about all the things I don't like about Barack Obama.

But the little prick is making it very hard.

Like any good progressive, I've gone from admiration to hope to disappointment to anger when it comes to this president. Now I'm fast getting to rage.

How much rage? I find myself thinking that the thing I want most from the 2010 elections is for his party to get absolutely clobbered, even if that means a repeat of 1994. And that what I most want from 2012 is for him to be utterly humiliated, even if that means President Palin at the helm. That much rage.

Think this guy would have said something like that a year ago? You can read it all here, it’s worth it!

Of course, among Conservatives, Sarah has become the absolute favorite. She is the defacto leader of the movement.

Politico, which leans left, just ended a reader poll. Out of nearly 17,000 votes, Sarah was chosen by 47 % of the readers as the biggest winner of 2009. Number two was Obama at 19%. "Someone Else" was third!

In the People's Republic Of San Francisco, Sarah's book, Going Rogue, is number three in sales! This in a town were many booksellers were proud to proclaim they would not even offer it for sale!

Even far left Ed Schultz over at Obama Central, MSNBC proclaimed her the biggest winner, going so far as to say "Show me what she has done wrong!"

This is pretty strong language.

By anyone’s measure, whatever negative feelings that have been out there about Sarah Palin, slowly, methodically, and most assuredly, she is turning those around.

So let me end by saying this. Both Sarah and Hillary deserved to be called the most admired women in America. They earned it!

These two are both the biggest winners of 2009, by far.

Hillary is a big winner, because she’s managed to avoid the absolute taint that has hung over the Obama campaign since day one. She might be the only one to walk away from this fiasco with something that resembles a career.

Of course, I’m incredibly biased and in my mind, Sarah Palin is the biggest winner of not only 2009, but of the entire decade. Absolutely everyone, but her strongest fans wrote her off when McCain lost the election in 2008.

This became a weekly ritual, anytime her name was mentioned. "X" was going to end her career, no matter what "X" was!

Then she "quit" as Governor. Oh my, political suicide. Yeah, right. Incredibly savvy move that completely changed the game on Obama and his Chicago street thug strategy of trying to stop her before she ever had a chance to come after him. This, it seems, has turned out to be a flawed strategy. There’s a reason why "they" say "let sleeping dogs lie" or "let well enough alone."

Up until midway through her book tour, we were told Sarah’s career was over. Then something happened. I don’t know if it was the big crowds, the great interviews, yucking it up with Shatner, or just the realization that this is one sharp woman, who is right more than she is wrong. One thing is for sure, there has been an incredible shift in the way most of the nation looks at Sarah Palin, and that’s not only a good thing for Sarah Palin, but a good thing for America.

America needs strong, fearless, and ethical leadership. That describes Sarah to a tee.

As we prepare to start a new year, and a new decade, America has found a true leader we can all get behind, and believe in. Someone who has the courage and ability to bring this nation away from the brink of destruction, and get it back on track.

America’s brightest and most exciting days are ahead of us, and Sarah Palin will be playing a major roll, bringing us not only energy and excitement, but the common sense and leadership we need to see this happen.

I for one cannot wait for 2010 and beyond!

Palin and Clinton Virtually Tied for America's Most Admired Woman

A poll taken by USA Today between December 11-13 finds Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton virtually tied as America's most admired woman:

...a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds, while Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and former Alaska governor Sarah Palin are virtually tied as the most-admired woman.

The close finish by Clinton, named by 16% in the open-ended survey, and Palin, named by 15%, reflects the nation's partisan divide. Clinton was cited by nearly 3 in 10 Democrats but only 6% of Republicans, Palin by a third of Republicans but less than 1% of Democrats.

Dangerous I Get, but Boring Too? A Post by Conservative Girl with a Voice

When so many actresses in Hollywood seem intent in tearing Sarah Palin down, it is refreshing to see a fearless, classy actress like Angie Harmon come to Sarah's defense. Recently, Angie said the following regarding a possible Sarah 2012 presidential run:

"If she wants to, I think she's great.... I think she's a woman who has her own set of values and morals and ethics and has the courage to live her life accordingly. I admire that."

Angie is right on the money. I have long respected Angie for a variety of reasons. Not only is she a respected actress, but she a wonderful wife and phenomenal mother. Like Sarah, she knows the value of hard work and the extreme importance of family. Angie is also a strong woman who is not afraid to speak her mind, no matter how popular or unpopular her beliefs may be. It is no secret that Angie is a conservative in Hollywood. I have extreme respect for her because unlike other actors and actresses who are fearful of speaking out against the liberal left, Angie has never been afraid to say and do what's right. While she is unafraid to speak out, it is important to note that she has never been hateful toward President Obama. This is a far cry from her liberal Hollywood counterparts who time and time again spew hatred at Republican leaders. In typical conservative fashion, Angie uses intelligence and class to voice her disagreements with this administration. It has become so commonplace for the liberal left Hollywood types to lash out against conservatives, using the most disgusting language and displaying a total lack of regard, not to mention commonsense. This just goes to show the difference between liberals and conservatives. Liberals lash out and use expletives in an attempt to gain favor, while conservatives use intellect and commonsense.

Although members on the liberal left preach tolerance and acceptance, they are the most intolerant people out there. Take Martha Stewart for example. It is no secret that Ms. Stewart has had run-ins with the law, but she conquered and survived. Now, one would think that she would know first-hand what it is like to push on and persevere. You would think she would look at a woman like Sarah Palin with extreme regard because Sarah is also a fighter. While it is clear that Ms. Stewart is a member of the liberal left and doesn't agree at all with Sarah politically, you would at least think she could admit that Sarah is a strong woman like Hillary Clinton, but then again we are talking about the liberal left- the liberal left who are on an all-out assault against Sarah and her family. Many of you know why I am bringing up Ms. Stewart. For those of you out there who may be unaware of Ms. Stewart's latest stunt to get attention, let me clue you in on what this woman recently said about Sarah in an interview with CNN's Showbiz Tonight:

"She's very boring to me, very boring. And a very, to me, kind of a dangerous person. I mean, she's dangerous. She speaks, she's, she's so confused. And anyone like that in government is a real problem."

I was actually watching this episode of Showbiz Tonight, and I heard and saw Ms. Stewart make these vile comments. I saw the way she scowled and the way in which she tensed up and squinted her eyes in an "I hate Sarah" kind of way. You know the facial expressions I'm writing of because we have seen them before. We have seen other liberal buffoons like Sheryl Crow, Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn, Tina Fey, Matt Damon, Joy Behar, Sarah Silverman, not to mention countless others who think Sarah is stupid and unqualified just because she is a conservative. They can't understand why a woman- a young, beautiful, classy woman, can be a conservative. They can't understand how a woman can call herself pro-life. It all comes down to these qualities.

As a young, conservative woman, I don't agree with liberal women like Hillary Clinton and Oprah Winfrey, but I can honestly say that I respect them for all they have accomplished. Why can't those on the left do the same? Do they have too much pride? Do they hate conservatism and all it stands for that much? I have to say no to the first question and in the words of one of Sarah's family members, a big "Hell yeah" to the second question.

I find it funny that liberal loons like Ms. Stewart find Sarah boring (Has Martha looked in the mirror lately? As the old saying goes: a skunk smells its own scent, and frankly, Ms. Stewart, you are not only the queen of mean, but the queen of boring too.) And if boring wasn't enough, they find her dangerous too? That first trait comical, but the second one, well maybe these loons are on to something. While they want you to believe Sarah is stupid and unintelligent, they call her dangerous. What gives? They are calling a self-described Alaska hockey mom, loving wife and mother "dangerous"? It would be laughable if it were not so true; Sarah is dangerous, but the dangerous they speak of is not the dangerous I am writing about. Ms. Stewart's definition of dangerous has to do with the very platform Sarah holds dear. Her pro-life, pro-capitalism, pro-Second Amendment, pro-God, pro-traditional family values beliefs are values she holds close to her heart. I'm sorry, Ms. Stewart, but calling Sarah dangerous for holding these beliefs is like calling Hillary Clinton dangerous for her beliefs, and you and I both know you would never do this. Yeah, so much for tolerance.

Sarah is dangerous, not because of her views, but because of the common sense solutions she has for America. In Sarah, we have an individual who is not afraid to tell the truth, no matter how much the truth may hurt. There is an intense discussion out there that Sarah is the reason behind the conservative revolution that is currently underway across America. While liberal loons like Ms. Stewart would never admit that this is the case, I believe this is exactly what is happening. There is no other individual in modern-day politics who could draw the crowds she draws day in and day out on a book tour, not even President Obama. I say this because while President Obama's approval ratings continue to drop, Sarah's approval numbers continue to skyrocket. What do you have to say about that, Ms. Stewart? It's not so much a good thing, now, is it?

Ms. Stewart and liberals like her realize that they no longer have the clout they once had. They no longer have America under their control. The slogans for change and the "Yes we can" chants may have worked during the 2008 presidential campaign, but people are beginning to realize that that's all they ever really were. Slogans and chants may be fun for a while, but there comes a time when these things grow old, and just as the the styrofoam pillars got taken back to that Hollywood Lot, as Sarah so eloquently put it, so too do the chants and slogans into thin air.

The members of the liberal left fear Sarah and the members of her army because they realize they don't have any power over us. We are not going to back down, we are not going to sit down, and we are definitely not going to shut up. I believe God does things for a reason, and Sarah is exactly where God wants her to be right now. She is traveling across America, meeting with folks from all over "Mainstreet U.S.A." Sarah is speaking for us, on behalf of all of us. We are a mighty army that will not stop until our country is back on the right track. Although America is a little off course at the moment, we are holding firm to our conservative principles, and in the end, we WILL win and take our country back!

Liberal Wrath: A Post by Conservative Girl with a Voice

Carrie Prejean is so right when she recently said there is a double standard when it comes to the treatment conservative women and liberal women receive from the media and people in general. Here is what Carrie told NBC's Meredith Vieira regarding this obvious double standard:

"Well, I think it's important for people to understand. I think that Americans heard only bits and pieces of what really happened and I think that there is a liberal bias in the media. And it's unfortunate that conservative women are attacked, they are attacked for their beliefs and it's unacceptable and it shouldn't happen. And so many Americans are frustrated, so many Americans believe that their beliefs are under attack and that they should silent and free speech doesn't exist. Since when does free speech not exist? Since when is someone able to go on national TV and call someone the most awful names you could ever call a woman and get away with it?"

Not only was Carrie called the most evil names, but she was dragged through the mud. People she hasn't seen or talked too in years are all of a sudden popping up and wrongly exploiting her. Carrie doesn't deserve this. While it is clear she has made mistakes in the past, no one is perfect and she has vocally admitted her faults on multiple occasions, unlike our president I might add. It is time to leave this poor young woman alone. Unfortunately, this will not happen. We live in an age in which conservative women are attacked because they don't believe in things liberal women believe in. While many are criticizing Carrie for comparing herself to Sarah, Carrie is accurate in comparing the treatment she has received to the treatment Sarah has received. Like Sarah, Carrie is a conservative. Like Sarah, Carrie is a Christian, and like Sarah, Carrie finds herself in the middle of an on-going battle with the liberal msm (mainstream media).

Now, picture this: Picture if Sarah was Hillary Clinton, and picture if Carrie was a liberal pageant contestant who had publicly voiced her support for gay marriage. You see where I'm going with this, right? Not only would these women receive better treatment from the media, but they would suddenly become the poster women for "The Modern-Day Woman," "The Modern-Day Feminist." Don't get me wrong, I publicly stated and wrote about the unfortunate treatment Hillary received during the 2008 campaign, but the treatment she received was a lot more positive than the treatment Sarah received. This is all because of the double standard that exists today. Look at Hillary now. She is praised for the job she is doing as Secretary of State, and Sarah is continually mocked by the liberal msm and the vile left. Everything Sarah says and does is put under the microscope while Hillary continues to receive praise. I have no problem with individuals being praised when they do well and holding someone accountable when they mess up, but when it comes to Sarah, it seems that she can never win when it comes to the treatment she receives from the left.

Take Sarah's use of Facebook for example. While I find her use of the social networking site to spread her common sense message of conservatism brilliant, she gets made fun of for posting on the site. Take a step back to the 2008 presidential campaign. Who was praised for spreading his message on the internet via social networking? Then-candidate Obama. What gives? Not only is Sarah doing exactly what President Obama did during the campaign, but I would argue that she is doing a better job of spreading the word than he did. Yet, instead of commending her for using the internet to spread her message, she is made fun of just as she was when she opened a Twitter account. I guarantee if a liberal woman chose to spread her message via the internet, she would be praised for her efforts. MSNBC would probably air a how-to segment. This further illustrates the difference between the treatment liberal women like Nancy Pelosi and conservative women like Sarah receive from the wacky, liberal msm.

Conservative women like Sarah and Carrie are phenomenally strong women who should be praised for being examples of women who are making a difference by sticking to their beliefs; instead, conservative women are attacked because they believe in everything the liberal left loathe. I can relate to Sarah and Carrie in that I too am attacked just because I am a conservative woman. I guarantee many conservative women reading this feel the same way. I am not ashamed to say that I am a conservative woman; in fact, I am PROUD to say that I am a conservative woman. I could care less what the liberal left thinks of me, and I know Sarah and Carrie feel the same way. I actually am mutual friends with a couple of people who are friends of Carries here in San Diego, and she IS as nice a person as you see on the television. She DOES NOT deserve the treatment she is receiving. I am proud to have women like Carrie and Sarah on the conservative side of the spectrum.

The liberals out there will preach that conservative women are not real women, but nothing could be further from the truth. Just as liberal women have values they hold close to their hearts, conservative women do as well. It is important to note that Sarah and Carrie are attacked because they hold firm to their beliefs. They are not afraid to stand up and speak out, which is why they continue to be attacked. In standing up and speaking out, they become a threat to everything the left holds dear. Whether it be gay marriage or abortion, the left is threatened that Sarah and Carrie, and conservative women in general, don't abide to what the msm sees as the ideal woman, the ideal feminist. The left is scared of conservative women because they see women who are able to have it all. They are able to have a husband and children while still having a great career.

Conservative women believe in things like life, freedom and traditional marriage. Conservative women believe in the Constitution, free market and capitalism. Conservative women don't want socialism or big government. The liberal left just does not get get. They don't understand how any woman could call themselves a conservative. Well, I could say the same thing about them. How can you be for abortion when having an abortion ends life? How can you be for gay marriage when the Bible specifically says marriage is between one man and one woman? It's time members of the liberal left practice the tolerance they preach so much about and allow others to practice their First Amendment right to speak out on issues that are important to them. I am not going to hold my breath because members of the liberal left seem hell-bent on destroying any threat that stands in their way to achieving their liberal-left agenda. I, for one, am not going to back down; I am not going anywhere. Like Sarah and Carrie, I am going to stand my ground and continue my message of common-sense conservatism, and I hope you all stand up and speak out with me as we continue to fight the good fight!!
