Governor Palin: NO to Socialized Health Care

As more Americans delve into the disturbing details of the nationalized health care plan that the current administration is rushing through Congress, our collective jaw is dropping, and we’re saying not just no, but hell no (Palin, 2009, ¶1)!

The Democrats promise that a government health care system will reduce the cost of health care, but as the economist Thomas Sowell has pointed out, government health care will not reduce the cost; it will simply refuse to pay the cost. And who will suffer the most when they ration care? The sick, the elderly, and the disabled, of course. The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil (Palin, 2009, ¶2).

Health care by definition involves life and death decisions. Human rights and human dignity must be at the center of any health care discussion (Palin, 2009, ¶3).

Rep. Michele Bachmann highlighted the Orwellian thinking of the president’s health care advisor, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the brother of the White House chief of staff, in a floor speech to the House of Representatives. I commend her for being a voice for the most precious members of our society, our children and our seniors (Palin, 2009, ¶4).

We must step up and engage in this most crucial debate. Nationalizing our health care system is a point of no return for government interference in the lives of its citizens. If we go down this path, there will be no turning back. Ronald Reagan once wrote, “Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we’ll ever see on this earth.” Let’s stop and think and make our voices heard before it’s too late (Palin, 2009, ¶5).

Commentary

Governor Palin -- this author would really like to start referring to her as "President Palin," because as far as he is concerned, she is his President -- was right on target with her analysis of the socialized health care bill being proposed. Aside from the factual correctness of her concise statement on the subject, Governor Palin was frank, honest and pulled no punches. No mincing of words, no double-speak, euphemisms, political correctness, gimmicks, or bull.

She distilled in five paragraphs precisely what is wrong with this proposal, and the consequences of it becoming law. Governor Palin did so in an engaging easily understandable way.

Anyone who reads this blog is well aware of the Obama's Orwellian approach to this bill. He has asked Americans to snitch on one another to a special email address. He has sent thugs to town hall meetings to turn them into "town brawl" meetings, then blamed the violence on those who do not want this atrocity to be foisted upon us.

Even some who voted for him have come to realize that he is not what Candidate Obama sold himself to be, but is what many of us warned he is -- a socialist/communist with a lengthy list of anti-American connections. Unfortunately for those voters, to steal from the words of one such connection -- "Rev." Wright -- their chickens are coming home to roost. Unfortunately those of us who want no part of this will be slaughtered by the fox running amok in the hen house if we don't follow Governor Palin's advice and fight this.

Are Political Opponents Enemies?

America will have a stark choice in the 2010 and 2012 elections. Reward those who treat their political opponents with respect, or side with heavy-handed bullies who treat their opponents like enemies. On the right, Governor Palin speaks with Alaskans protesting her actions. On the left, Jim Messina, Deputy Chief of Staff to Rahm Emanuel. He is the White House Representative who told Democratic Senators at a closed-doors meeting on Health Care Communications Strategy, "If you get hit, we'll punch back twice as hard." Though he may have been referring to competing political ads, the White House attitude toward opponents comes though loud and clear.

John Sweeney calling on union members to show up at town meetings shows the Dems willingness to intimidate rather than persuade. And surely persuasion doesn't come easily to a President who likes to let others work out the details of his proposals. All the better if evasion is your main message.

I'm Coming After MSNBC for Calling Sarah Palin the Poster Girl for Racism

This is a new low. MSNBC is a disgrace, and I never expect anything remotely fair or ethical to emerge from their dealings with conservatives, Sarah Palin in particular, but their recent smearing is way over the top--and I'm just...FED UP! Why can't the Left just deal with the real issues? That would be "too much like right," so what do they do? You know what they do because you've seen it so many times before. When someone disagrees with them, they call them names. Their most recent tactic is calling people "angry mobs" who speak out against or ask legitimate questions about the president's death care (they call it health care) reform bill. That was a surprise because usually they just call people with an opinion of their own "racists." You've heard it before, and if you're on the Left, you probably have to admit that you've believed it--or at least wondered about it. It's their tactic, people. Wake up--and stop letting them play you!

After reading part of syndicated columnist Kathleen Parker's article in which she refers to Harper Lee's novel To Kill a Mockingbird--which addresses steep racism in the deep South--Chris Matthews actually had the nerve to ask her, "Is Sarah Palin a poster girl for racism, yes or no?"

What in the world?! What kind of allegation is that?! Almost as bad as the original question, was Kathleen's response, which was,
"Not consciously. I certainly don't think she, Sarah Palin, knows anything about Harper Lee or this deep history in the South where you don't position a White woman and a Black male and ... and ... pretend like there's nothing happening. There's a deep, deep history, which is why I dropped the Harper Lee in there."

Shall I translate her ill-formed response to say that Sarah Palin is too dumb to even know who Harper Lee is or understand the history of racism in the South? Is that what you got because that's what I got from her words.

Matthews follows that up by letting us know that he has just rewatched To Kill a Mockingbird where a white woman accused "a totally innocent Black guy" of rape and "was believed for no reason, except she said so."

So what does this have to do with Sarah Palin and Barack Obama, Chris?

Now, being somewhat of an expert on To Kill a Mockingbird, as I taught it for years, I have to break this down. Harper Lee's novel is, in my opinion, the greatest novel ever written--not that I've read them all, so you can weigh that opinion with other novels you have read. My point is you'll be hard-pressed to find a book so well-written, so thought-provoking, or so completely engaging. I'm talking about the book, now, not the Academy Award winning movie. If your only knowledge of To Kill a Mockingbird is the movie, you don't even know the story; talk to me after you've done the reading!

Matthews is referring to Mayella Ewell, the White girl considered "poor white trash" in her community, who accused a kind-hearted Black husband and father, Tom Robinson (I certainly hope no connection is being made there between these characters and Sarah and Obama), of raping her. Although it was clear that he was physically incapable of committing the crime and that Mayella couldn't be trusted, Tom was still found guilty, simply because he was Black and she was White, racism being what it was in Maycomb County, Alabama, the fictitious setting of the novel. Mayella knew it would come down to that, as did everyone else, because it was an "us vs them" world in which they lived.

So what is Parker, and subsequently Matthews, saying here? I've gone over and over this in my mind and rewatched the video clip. The subtle suggestion here seems to be that Sarah Palin is the equivalent of a Mayella Ewell who used race and sexuality to attempt to destroy a man viewed as illicit and evil simply because his skin was Black. That's my read on this. That's the only thing I can get from it. Matthews seems to say that Sarah does so purposely, while Parker seems to say that Sarah doesn't quite know enough to realize what she's doing, that her tapping into the racism of Southern Republicans is unconscious, although I find it interesting that in her article she refers to Sarah as a "pretty gal with a mocking little wink." Hmmm...

Matthews went on to ask his other guest, Joan Walsh, if Sarah is tribalistic and fosters an "us vs. them" mentality that we have made such strides to get rid of in this country. This particular guest said in no uncertain terms that Sarah, during the campaign, hatefully divided the nation, did so skillfully, and enjoyed it. She stated that Sarah made Obama out to be someone other than "us." She then argued that, "Barack Obama is one of us--he's very much so. The only thing different about him is he's Black."

Okay, at this point I'd heard enough.

Walsh's comments reveal the heart of this whole debate. The point that is being made here is that Sarah Palin sees Obama as different for one reason and one reason only: because he's Black, and that this is why she seeks to separate the rest of the nation from him. This is the part that drives me nuts. Does the Left think so little of the American people? Could it be possible, has it ever crossed anyone's mind, that the people who disagree with the president do so because he's scary--not scary because he's Black, but because his world view is so far out of the mainstream that it's off the charts? Obama is a socialist in his thinking and in his vision for America. Whether he wants to call it that or not is unimportant. He clearly wants government takeover. He wants to remake America to the point that it will be barely recognizable. I do believe his agenda is an anti-freedom, anti-Constitution agenda--and THAT is what Sarah Palin has a problem with, not the color of the president's skin--and to suggest that her issue is one of race is slander, plain and simple.

The video clip ends with Matthews saying anyone on the coasts is evil to Sarah and that

"She's an Alaskan, who, I'll betcha (Yes, he said "betcha"--but don't let Sarah say it!) any money she is gonna spend most of her time down in the middle parts of the country, the rural White parts. She's gonna find those cul de sacs of Whitedom and exploit the hell out of them."

Again, what in the world?!

I've got a message for each of these people:

Kathleen Parker: The reason Sarah Palin doesn't consider Harper's Lee's novel about race in her criticism of the president's policies has nothing to do with an unfamiliarity with Harper Lee or the racial politics of the South. It's because her criticism has nothing to do with race. Sarah Palin is not Mayella Ewell, crying "rapist' because Obama is Black. She's not winking her eye to say to Southern Republicans, "Let him have it. Hang him!" She's not even unconsciously guilty of dividing the nation on racial lines. She does, however, wholeheartedly oppose government takeover.

Joan Walsh: What Sarah takes exception to concerning President Obama is not the difference of his skin color. (By the way, it seems to me YOU have subscribed to the "us vs them" mentality because actually his color is NOT different from mine, but it seems you were thinking of people like you vs people like me. Hmmm...) Sarah's issue with the president, which is the same issue that millions of Americans have of all different races, religions, and professions, is that he appears to lack a respect for the freedoms and rights of the people, seems to not understand that the government is supposed to stay in its place, weakens America's defenses, and always wants to apologize for us. That's the problem. Some people really do love their country. Some people actually deal with people as people: they praise and criticize people's policies regardless of their skin complexion. They are not afraid to walk alongside someone who happens to look different than they, but they are not going to be silenced by the politics of race baiting.

And finally, Chris Matthews: For you to suggest that Sarah Palin feels safer in American Whitedom is too vile for words--even for me. Your "bet" that Sarah Palin is too afraid to be around Black people is despicable--even for you. When was the last time you took to the Hood, dude?

We have entered a really sick, sick place in history. We have entered this place where no one can say anything about Obama without being called a racist. I have also found through nasty comments left on my blog that no one can even praise Sarah Palin without the risk of also being called a racist--even if they're Black, like me. I have been told that I am being used by Sarah Palin, that I am being deceived, and that I don't seem to understand that the greatest form of hatred is self-hatred. So I hate Black people?! And the reason for these attacks? Because I have the "unmitigated temerity" (a phrase applied to Tom Robinson in TKAM, by the way) to think on my own and to stand up for Sarah Palin.

Listening to the nonsense on the video clip, one would think that Sarah Palin should apologize for being an Alaskan, that she should have refused John McCain's call to run with him because she was a White woman who would have to speak out against a Black man, and that she should keep quiet for fear of being called a racist. NO!

I've got a message for you, Sarah:

I say keep on speaking up, Sarah! Keep walking through every door God opens for you, and keep calling wrong "wrong,"--no matter what color mouth it comes out of. They only want to shut you up.

Look, everyone, has anyone told these people that Sarah Palin was not running against Barack Obama for the presidency of the United States--the LAST time? Yes, I said the LAST time! Let the Matthews, and the Parkers, and the Walshes underestimate her if they dare be so foolish. Let them underestimate her influence. And let them underestimate me and people like me, yes, even Black people who are smart enough and are wise enough to come alive enough to vote based on principles and values. They take us--Americans--for fools, but we are not fools, and we will not allow them to play an "us vs them" game the NEXT time as they try to convince us of an "us vs them" agenda on the part of Sarah Palin, an agenda that simply does not exist. They do so, in part, by discounting her small-town upbringing in Wasilla, Alaska as insignificant and backwoods. Let me tell you, I spent a month in Alaska and most of that time in Wasilla, where this American--who happens to be Black--was treated like a princess by some of Sarah's own family and friends. I was welcomed, befriended, housed, fed, and loved--in Wasilla, Alaska. This, everyone, is the America in which Sarah Palin was made. It's the same America that you grew up in and I grew up in. It's not "us vs them." It's just "US"--all of us. Sarah believes in one America, and that's the America she stands up for. Let's stand with her!

Video: Fox News Interviews Me about Sarah Palin's Future

Many of you already saw this on television. I was present at Sarah Palin's farewell spech in Fairbanks, AK when it aired; therefore, I wasn't able to catch this first-hand. I heard from many of you that you saw the interview a number of times. Fox aired it for a couple days, yet I didn't catch it once! Now when I'm here at home, Fox News is always on, but for a month in Alaska, television was just not on the agenda.

From what I've been told, it seems that this was not the only clip shown from my interview with Dan Springer, but other parts of the interview were aired at different times. I wouldn't know, like I said, but I do know Springer had plenty of tape to choose from, as my interview there at Pioneer Park lasted around 10 minutes or so.

To set this up, what I'm addressing in the clip is his statement that recent polls show a decline in Sarah's favorability among Republicans and his question as to whether or not I was worried about that. I started by saying that less than two weeks prior, the polls showed that she was actually leading in favorability--well ahead of Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee--so I wasn't at all concerned.

Obama's Alaskan Mafia Scandal

This is the "EthicsGate" video Gary's describes in his must read post. (Yes, Gary, I did steal your AK Mafia term.) Made by Naked Emperor News, and previously stripped from YouTube, it shows goofy but actual coordination between bloggers, State Dems, Obama Dems and Ethics Complaint Filers as rough payback for the progressive "crime" of Sarah's being a Republican on the campaign trail. IMO, since they went public with their complaints, and knew it was against the law to do so, they were conspiring to commit a crime.

Listen to Linda Kellen Biegel and "CC" on AK talk radio. They take (obviously arranged) calls from supposedly independent ethics complainers: Val Henning, Kim Chatman, and Sondra Tompkins.

Also, listen for an official Obama Campaign Conference Call where Tony Knowles lies about rape kits. He should be ashamed of himself. And he didn't even get a job!

Barack Obama’s Alaska Mafia Is On The Run And Angry The Spotlight Is On Them

The past week has been truly incredible and truly busy. So busy in fact, this is the first time I have stopped long enough to actually write about how incredible things have been and what has been going on.

Most know that our group has been writing about the democrat/communist party operatives in Alaska, their attempts at destroying Sarah Palin by continually filing bogus ethics complaints, and then illegally publicizing them.

If you don’t know, it’s illegal to disclose any information about an ongoing ethics investigation. Oddly enough, under the law, if you do this to a legislator, the complaint is thrown out and not considered. For some reason, even though it is still illegal, there is no punishment, and the complaint still stands if you do it to the Governor. How convenient.

Anyway, even though this stuff has been out there, and anyone who cares knows the names of Jeanne Devon, Linda Kellen Biegel, Shannyn Moore, Amanda Coyne, Sondra Tompkins, and Zane Henning just to name a few, no one was prepared for what has happened.

Naked Emperor News, a website that does video journalism, turned all of these Alaskan democrat/communist’s little world upside down when they released a great video, with all of the players in their own words together.

Again, we all know that Barack Obama has great ties to all of this. Obama’s then campaign chief of staff, now White House advisor, Pete Rouse, is an Alaskan. He is also great friends with former Alaska State Senator Kim Elton. I’ll get to the reason why he’s a former Senator in a second. But those two go way back having worked together on a former Alaska Lt Governor’s staff. Rouse still votes absentee in Alaska.

Everyone has heard of "Troopergate" the phony investigation, really a witch hunt, cooked up by the Alaska democrat/communist party with the help of Barack Obama. At the time CNN and others reported that Obama had been in talks with the troopers union over this. But no one seemed to care enough to stay on that story. Too busy dealing with thrills up their legs I guess.

What happened next was a conspiracy to try and harm Sarah Palin. Their hope was impeachment.

Of course, they failed, but just days before the November presidential election, Senator Kim Elton, who was ramrodding this deal, promised that Sarah Palin was going down. In the end, Sarah Palin was cleared from any wrong doing after the state personnel board reviewed the bogus Branchflower report cooked up by Steven Branchflower and Kim Elton. They slammed Branchflower’s investigation and declared Palin completely innocent.

But, the damage was done, and in pure Chicago pay-for-play thug politics, Barack Obama, upon taking office, gave Kim Elton a make work job in the Department of Interior. You can read more here.

The Naked Emperor News covers all of this, as well as the deliberate and coordinated attacks on Sarah Palin by the Alaskan democrat/communist bloggers and those filing the complaints. They even dug up audio of a radio interview where a bunch of them called in to talk about it. Of course, the bloggers still claim no collusion.

Now just like cockroaches scatter when you turn the lights on, these losers have went into panic mode. Jeanne Devon who is shown on the video several times, has, along with others, been trying as hard as possible to ban this video. She has been going after it on You Tube and elsewhere. She claims "copyright violations."

Yeah, OK.

This is where the efforts of a dedicated group of patriots come in. They've all worked endlessly to make this video go viral. This video is now everywhere including international websites. I want to give a big shout out to Bob Parks who writes for the Canada Free Press and was kind enough to host the video as well as give Jeanne Devon a bit of schooling on copyright law. You can see the video here.

Now for those that don’t know, Jeanne Devon, a shopkeeper in Anchorage, is the type of person we usually describe with a word that starts with chicken but has a few more letters to it. Rather than blog out in the open,, she cries for people like Sarah Palin to be "open and transparent", while she uses an alias. Devon, who writes for her own hate website, Mudflats, as well as the vile Huffington Post as AKMuckraker, is such a nasty woman that a Democrat legislator Mike Doogan, had enough of her and outed her to the world!

So she is going stark raving mad at this point, as is her partner in crime Linda Kellen Biegel.

So it came as no surprise this weekend when CNN employee Dennis Zaki came out with the wild story that Sarah Palin was divorcing Todd and moving to Montana. Of course, this was an out and out lie, but certainly what one expects anytime a democrat/communist opens it’s mouth, especially when they are talking about Sarah Palin!

This was an obvious, deliberate, and coordinated effort to "punish" Sarah Palin because American patriots have had enough of these vile and hateful members of the Alaska Mafia and have started fighting back.. The divorce lie was payback because the light has been shone on these losers.

Well, this started a chain reaction none of the Alaska Mafia wanted to see, I can promise you!

First to weigh in was super blogger and author Pamela Geller (Atlas Shrugs) who decided to turn the table on Barack Obama. Kind of a sorta Chicago deal. You pull out a knife, we’ll pull out an Abrams tank!

Of course, as always, Sarah herself put this stupidity to bed with this fantastic quote:

"Divorce Todd? Have you SEEN Todd? I may be just a renegade hockey mom, but I’m not blind!" __Sarah Palin

But the conservative bloggers weren’t done. You see everyone knows that Dennis Zaki a stringer for CNN is a known and provable liar. But where was this really coming from?

Well Zaki’s source is another one of the democrat/communist bloggers who is tied into Barack Obama’s Alaska Mafia. This loser, who writes as Gryphen, has a blog called the Immoral Minority. Perfect name for a democrat/communist blog, don’t ya think?

Anyway, journalist Robert Stacy McCain was the recipient of some interesting information.

Gryphen is actually Jesse Griffin, a divorced 48 year old part time kindergarten teacher at Trailside Elementary in Anchorage. My first question is what sort of 48 year old man works part time at a kindergarten? Jesse Griffin’s only other effort seems to be spending time with his pal CNN employee Dennis Zaki making up insane stories about Sarah Palin!

You see, Jesse Griffin, who started the lie about Sarah getting divorced, is also the one who started the lie that Sarah’s youngest child, Trig, was actually Bristol’s.

Griffin is also the one behind the lie that Sarah Palin was under indictment by the FBI, which is why she was stepping down. This of course prompted the FBI to do something it rarely does, and publicly announce that, no, Sarah Palin wasn’t under any sort of investigation of any kind.

Griffin’s Immoral Minority is aligned with the other Alaska democrat/communist blogs that kept saying there was a big "iceberg" coming for Sarah Palin, and of course, all of these hate bloggers, especially Shannyn Moore and Jeanne Devon, who write for the Huffington Post, trumpeted this bogus FBI story as the iceberg.

You can read more of Robert Stacy McCain’s report on Jesse Griffin here.

McCain dug up some incredibly disturbing quotes from Jesse Griffin. Very vile and very troubling. If I had kids over at Trailside Elementary, I’d be concerned, especially if they were in kindergarten. This cat is certifiable!

The folks over at Flopping Aces have some interesting things to say as well.

Sarah Palin’s attorney is now involved in this deal.

OK, but you ask why bring Barack Obama into all of this, isn’t he self destructing well enough with any help? Well, yes he is. But the ties are so deep to this it just makes me mad. They wanted to impeach Richard Nixon for a lot less.

Barack Obama has ties to Alaskan’s For Truth as well as the Wasilla Project and Mythbusters. And with his man Pete Rouse’s lifelong ties to Alaska, it’s just not much of a leap to understand this deliberate and coordinated effort to destroy Sarah Palin all leads to an office somewhere at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C.

Case in point. Remember a week or so ago when it was illegally leaked that Sarah Palin’s Alaska Trust Fund, her legal defense fund was itself illegal?

This is typical for the Alaska Mafia. They have filed over 20 bogus ethics complains, cost the state of Alaska at minimum $2 million tax payer dollars, basically stealing $2 mil, as well as cost Sarah herself over a half million personally. So what did they do? They filed an idiotic ethics complaint saying, basically, she didn’t have a right to raise money to defend herself!

Now this complaint has not been resolved. It’s still under "investigation." Cue up the possible Obama plant. I say possible, because I honestly can’t say for sure. But bear with me on this. I promise not to disappoint.

You see, the guy who leaked the information claiming Sarah Palin was "guilty" was the so-called "independent investigator" hired by the state to investigate Sarah Palin!

How convenient!

This "independent investigator," Thomas Daniel, has a day job, of course. Thomas Daniel works for Perkins Coie. Perkins Coie is the law firm Barack Obama uses to represent him.

Oh my.

Obama has spent almost $700,000 with the law firm this year as they, among other things, represent Obama in those dozens of law suits out there challenging his eligibility to be President.

Josh Painter put a great piece together on this that you can read here.

Also it’s reported that Perkins Coie is the go to law firm for the democrat/communist party when they want to steal elections and manufacture votes.

Ahh, the circle of life.

So let me think....

The "independent investigator," Thomas Daniel, knowingly committed a crime and leaked a story, a lie actually, to a reporter. And this "independent investigator," Thomas Daniel; just happens to work at the same law firm the represents Barack Obama. What could possibly be wrong here?

Look, the democrat/communists want to destroy Sarah Palin. Heck, even some of the good old boy Republican losers want to stop her. The fear from both groups is palpable.

Sarah Palin is a true American patriot. This is a woman that has taken on corruption and stopped it cold. And frankly, she didn’t care that a lot of those who were corrupt were life time establishment Republicans. In fact, it seemed to delight her.

Sarah Palin strikes fear in all of the NYC/DC Beltway hacks. They know when she gets going she will destroy their little gravy train, their little fiefdoms. Sarah Palin represents anything but business as usual in politics.

Now for the democrat/communists, she is particularly dangerous. As Barack Obama and his Congress try to pass insane tax schemes like cap and tax, and destroy all freedom and liberty with this massive health care gambit, which is nothing less than and end run around the Constitution, a total usurpation, really, Sarah Palin stands there saying: "No!"

No one can draw a crowd like Sarah Palin, and unlike Mr Hopey Changey, when Sarah Palin speaks, she captivates the crowd with substance. Sarah talks about things that matter to Americans. But Sarah also talks about something else, the American Spirit.

Unlike Barack Obama and all of the democrat/communists who constantly run America down, Sarah Palin constantly speaks to America’s greatness. To Barack Obama, America’s greatest days have come and gone. But to Sarah Palin, America is that "shining city on a hill" that our great Ronald Reagan always spoke of.

Obama and the democrat/communists never miss a chance to disrespect our fine military. Sarah Palin never misses a chance to praise our wonderful service men and women, and remind Americans that the military has been fighting and dying for the them, and their liberty and freedom, for over two centuries. In fact, our brave troops volunteer to do this. They put their lives on the line for us daily. Sarah Palin’s son is serving, as well.

Basically, Sarah Palin represents real hope, and real change. She is a street fighter. A savvy woman who gets things done, a concept foreign in DC.

So, the enemy must destroy her!

Who is the enemy?

Well, it’s Barack Obama, and the democrat/communist party, for sure. They are destroying America, and usurping the Constitution, but they aren’t the only problem. They are also a lot of Republicans who have gotten fat and lazy in DC, and are not working for their employers, the American people.

So what can you do?

Well, I can state the obvious, which is to get behind Sarah Palin 100 percent!

Support Sarah through SarahPAC and the Alaska Trust Fund. You can also stand up and say, "No more!" every time some nut job makes up lies about her, or attacks her in any way.

But there is a lot more to it. You must get off the couch and get into the game. You must stand up to Barack Obama and the rest of the democrat/communists. You need to educate yourselves on all of the issues and speak up. Stop being comfortable, start being active. Your very liberty and freedom is at stake.

Go to tea parties, attend these townhalls that the politicians are setting up. Scream at them and tell them to get right, or else!

Grab all of your friends, especially those who say "I don’t do politics." It’s up to you to make them understand that if they want liberty and freedom, they sure as hell better start "doing politics!"

Get out and support conservative candidates nationwide. 2010 counts, and will be the most important election in a century. If we can't take Congress back with a solid conservative majority, and stop the march toward full absolute communist rule, we will no longer be a free nation, and liberty will be but a fleeting dream.

Sarah Palin is a true transformative figure in America, and a great lady, but even she can’t do this alone!

Five Reasons Why Sarah Palin Will Be The Next President

1) She didn't go to Harvard. Now, no offense to my Ivy League friends out there; there is certainly nothing wrong with attending that great university. But lets examine the facts. Most of our President's have gone to Ivy League institutions. Many on Wall Street running our financial center attended prestigious business schools. Yet they have all led us to where we find ourselves today - one of the most perilous times in our nation's history. Perhaps the Ivy League way of thinking isn't working. I hear some of the best ideas from people who rarely get taken seriously: cab drivers, mothers, and janitors who have something I believe most Ivy Leaguers lack - common sense. After four years of President Obama's "bellicose" language, and his inability to give a concise answer to a simple question, I believe Americans will be clamoring for a candidate who shoots from the hip, and gives it to them straight. Can you imagine Sarah Palin saying she should have, "calibrated" her words differently. I think that's how they teach you to apolgize at Harvard. Where I come from, and where Sarah Palin comes from, we say two words when trying to apologize: "I'm sorry"

2) Mitt Romney is a flawed candidate. Many agree that on paper, Mitt Romney is the "front-runner" for the nomination in 2012. He has business/leadership experience, and believes strongly that capitalism works. Those are both great qualities when running against a pro-government, anti-business President. However, he will have to explain why he passed a statewide healthcare program as Governor of Massachusetts, that has left the state near bankruptcy, and officials scrambling to find additional funds to keep it running. With so many Americans hoping President Obama doesn't pass his universal healthcare plan, why would they vote for a candidate who actually did pass it in his homestate? Now, it is true that the Democratic controlled legislature in Massachusetts changed much of the legislation Romney had proposed, however, he did end up signing it into law, and he will have a difficult time explaining that decision to Republican voters, paving the way for Sarah Palin to point out its inefficiency and waste.

3) She is prepared for the attacks. Lets face it, President Obama had a pretty easy road to the White House, with the mainstream media fawning all over him (think Chris Matthews and his tingle). However, Obama has shown over the past seven months an inability to deal with challenging questions from the media. During one of his many press conferences, for example, when a reporter from CNN (yes, I was shocked too) questioned the growing deficit, Obama became visibly agitated and quickly silenced the reporter by calling on another. Slight, but telling. The second time around, Obama will be running on a record, and the media will be forced to challenge him on it. They will no doubt do so lightly, but it will be interesting to see how the "cool, calm and collected" candidate that was Barack Obama in the 2008 campaign will handle a tougher challenge in the 2012 campaign. It is pretty easy to become President when you have no record to be challenged on, and the media gives you a free pass. Sarah Palin on the other hand is more than prepared to deal with the media attacks. In fact, she will downright expect them. Sarah has proven she's not only willing to take on her attackers with her head held high, but she can throw a punch with a wink and a smile. No candidate could be more prepared for a Presidential run in terms of dealing with the mainstream media then Sarah Palin.

4) She is selfless. The liberals will argue that Sarah Palin is a quitter since she resigned her position as governor with 18 months to go in her term. They'll say, "if she gave up on Alaska, she'll give up on you" That may resonate with some voters. But, the real truth is that her decision to resign the governorship was not a selfish act of self-promotion, but a SELFLESS act of putting her state first. With Sarah making the decision that she would like to be a true force in the Republican party, and would like to hit the road campaigning for other candidates, it was selfless of her to resign, knowing it would be unfair for tax payers to continue to pay her salary with her away from the state so often. As a tax payer in Obama's home state of Illinois, I can tell you it's pretty frustrating to know that my hard earned tax dollars went to paying his salary, while he traveled the country promoting himself, rather than doing what he was elected to do: fight for the citizens of his state.

5) She has a record of achievement and reform. Enough said. If Barack Obama can be elected with perhaps the thinest of Presidential resumes, Sarah Palin can be elected President because she has a record of actually accomplishing things. Even after resigning, she had a 54% approval rating among Alaskan voters because they know she got the job done. That's better than Barack Obama's approval rating right now! Like she said in her convention speech, "being a small-town mayor is sort of like being a community organizer, except you have actual responsibilities"

These are just five reasons. Feel free to add more, because I know these are just the tip of the iceberg.
