It's Monday Night, which Means it's Bristol Palin's Night to Shine!!! A Post by Conservative Girl with a Voice

I hope you all had a great weekend and had fun watching Sarah Palin's Alaska last night on TLC. What a great show; I know I speak for many of you when I admit that I cannot wait until next week. Make sure to tune in next Sunday night at 6 pacific/9 eastern on TLC to catch the second episode of the eight-part series.

Now, on to the business of the day...

Bristol Palin has "WOWED" America with her consistent improvement and her just-dance attitude during her time on Dancing with the Stars. Bristol needs our help again TONIGHT as she prepares to dance two dances in an all-out effort to make it into the finals. It is no secret that Bristol is the most-improved dancer left. It is also common knowledge that Bristol is the only contestant left who has no acting OR dancing experience. As the fabulous Kelly Osbourne recently said, "I love Bristol. I think she's what the show is all about. She puts her heart into what she's doing; there's such vulnerability in her, and she gets up there every week by herself and does it." Kelly is so right, Bristol IS what DWTS is all about. When I interviewed her for my blog, I found her to be so down-to-earth and genuine. There is not a diva bone in her entire body. In becoming a cast member on DWTS, she chose put herself out there, which illustrates her bravery and willingness to just let her hair down and have some fun. Sarah Palin recently tweeted some words of wisdom that Bristol shared with her when she first became a contestant: "No matter what I do, they're going to criticize, so I might as well dance." Well said, Bristol, well said. You just get out there and have some fun, and we will be there to support you and vote like crazy!!!

Remember, it is up to all of you out there!!! YOU can help her get through to next week. Make sure you watch the show and VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!!! While it is vital that you call 1-800-868-3407 with as many phones as you have, voting multiple times, it is just as vital that you vote online at abc.com and if AT&T is your cellular carrier, text your votes to 3407.

Talking with a Star: My One-on-One Interview with Miss Bristol Palin- A Post by Conservative Girl with a Voice

Yesterday, I had the honor of speaking with the amazing and inspiring Bristol Palin. As a single mom, public speaker and advocate for abstinence and the pro-life cause, as well as a contestant on ABC’s hit show Dancing with the Stars (DWTS), Bristol is a super-busy young woman, but was kind enough to speak with me about her appearance on DWTS, her advocacy campaign and what she sees for her and Tripp in the future. It was a blast to talk with Bristol, and I thank her again for taking the time to speak with me. Bristol is both charming and witty, and it was fun to share some laughs and light-hearted conversation with her. While so many well-known young people are caught up living the fast-paced Hollywood lifestyle, it is refreshing to have a young woman of Bristol’s caliber taking a stand and making a difference. I hope you enjoy reading this Q&A profile piece as much as I did writing it. Click here to visit my blog and read the entire piece.

Dance, Bristol, Dance!!! A Post by Conservative Girl with a Voice

Last night, Bristol R-O-C-K-E-D The Tonight Show with Jay Leno!!! After all Bristol has gone through in recent months, it was fun to watch her let loose and have some fun. I could tell Jay Leno was impressed too. It was fun to see them interact with each other as the interview progressed, and I encouraged those of you who haven't seen the interview to click here and watch it.

Those of us who know people close to Bristol will be the first to tell you that she is not the diva that she is being portrayed to by the slimy lamestream media. The Bristol you saw last night is an example of this. Bristol is a down-to-earth, all-American girl who loves her son and family. Like her parents, her family is the most important thing in the world to her. Once again the media are attempting to portray a member of the Palin family as someone they are not. I know for a fact that Bristol has NEVER asked for any special favors on the set of Dancing with the Stars. Bristol has been working her butt off practicing during the day and working and spending time with her son as soon as practice is over. Bristol is so excited for the opportunity to participate in a family-friendly show, and she cannot wait for her family to be in the audience to cheer her on. Hear that lsm? Maybe it's time to stop making stories up and start reporting the truth!!!

To Bristol, I say: Keep up the good work!!! You are an inspiration to so many, including me. You are a smart, beautiful, wholesome, all-American girl, and there are so many people out there who are rooting for you- this Conservative Girl with a Voice being one of them!!!

DANCE, BRISTOL, DANCE!!!
