Governor Palin Attends Stryker Brigade Welcome Home Ceremony

By Adrienne Ross - www.motivationtruth.com

(H/T Ron Devito)

Governor Palin doesn't just talk about the need to support and protect our troops; she has lived the concerns that family members of our military face. Just two days after she released a note on her Facebook page urging President Obama to be decisive in his support of our troops in Afghanistan, she attended the welcome home ceremony of the First Stryker Brigade from Fort Wainwright--including her son, Track--from a year-long deployment in Iraq.

KTUU reported:

Former Gov. Sarah Palin attended Thursday afternoon's welcome home ceremony for the 1st Stryker Brigade from Fort Wainwright at the Carlson Center.

The public appearance is Palin's first in the United States since resigning her office in July. Palin's oldest son, Track, is a member of the brigade that recently returned from a yearlong deployment in Iraq.

"To Sarah Palin, who for the last year was the senior mom of the brigade and along with her husband Todd, is a distinguished member of the 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team," Col. Burt Thompson, the brigade's commander, said.

"Ma'am, thanks for being here today and allowing your son to serve in our brigade. Thank you both for what you have done for your extended Army family and thanks for your unwavering support."

[...]

"Today we celebrate a job well done and your safe return to Alaska and the Fairbanks community," Maj. Gen. William Troy, commander of U.S. Army Alaska, said. "The teamwork between military and community here in Alaska is like nowhere else.

"By every account the Arctic Wolves acquitted themselves brilliantly."

Said Thompson: "Gentlemen, I report to you mission accomplished."

Surprise! Billionaire Obama Supporter Keeping Levi Johnston In The Spotlight

As we have talked about since the election, there has been a coordinated effort by backers of Barack Obama to harm Governor Sarah Palin. We have also talked about the efforts put forth by both candidate, and now President, Barack Obama to do everything in his power to derail Sarah Palin.

We have previously talked about Barack Obama’s Alaska Mafia and how Obama and Pete Rouse, his former campaign chief-of -staff and now White House adviser, not only played an active roll in the failed "Troopergate" smear on Sarah Palin, but also actively coordinated the many attacks on Sarah post election, including encouraging the filing of all of the phony-baloney "ethics complaints" against her that would eventually cost the Alaskan taxpayers around $2 million.

Barack Obama even did a little pay-for-play "Chicago Style" payoff to Alaska State Senator Kim Elton for his part in the "Troopergate" smear. After being sworn in, Obama quietly appointed Elton to a make work job over at the Department of Interior. You can read the whole deal, as well as watch the great video that ties the entire mess together in a nice little bow, here.

As you know, Levi Johnston, the poster child for abstinence, and deadbeat dad of the century, is now "staring" in an advertising campaign for nuts. This ad, which also features his "bodyguard" "Tank" Jones, an Alaska private investigator, who works for Alaska attorney Rex Butler, a big Obama supporter, features Levi and "Tank" pretending to be at an "event" and has Levi eating the company’s nut.

Butler, who claims to be Levi’s "manager" is also representing Levi’s mother, who is facing drug trafficking charges.

The seriously cheesy ad, which features Levi in a green t-shirt with "Alaska" on it, (because no one would know who this moron is without it) is set against an all white background with "flash bulbs" going off and "canned" crowd noises while ‘Tank" pretends to "fight back the paparazzi!"

Perfectly pathetic, just like the participants!

Our friend Gregory Tart did some digging into Roll Industries, the parent company behind all of this. On his blog, Gregory reports that:

For months last year, the Huffington Post mocked Sarah Palin over Levi Johnston. The jokes about "meth", hillbillies, and Bristol Palin was beyond the pale.

Now, Obama backers have launched an equally insidious deal to keep Levi Johnston in the public eye through a promotional campaign by Roll Industries for its nuts products- which seeks to profit from the former relationship between Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston. Johnston is a spokesman for the Roll's Paramount Growers division.

Stewart A. Resnick, a billionaire liberal democrat, residing in Los Angeles, is the Chairman of Roll International. Rolls' business involves agriculture, Fiji Water, and the Franklin Mint. He is also a prime financial backer behind the Democratic Party. His wife Lynda is Godmother to Arianna Huffington's daughter.

Many have speculated that rich democrats would go to any lengths to keep this character in the public eye to embarrass Sarah Palin. It’s a sad world where the rich can score political points by attacking children to get at the mother.

Rolls International Brands include Sunkist.

Some very interesting points there, for sure. The ties to hate monger Arianna Huffington, whose vile Huffington Post actively and openly promotes hatred toward Sarah Palin are the most interesting, for sure.

In her attempts to constantly smear and spread lies about Sarah Palin, Huffington plucked two Z-list bloggers Shannyn Moore and Jeanne Devon (AKMuckraker) from obscurity, and made them feature bloggers on her website. Moore and Devon are charters members of Barack Obama’s Alaska Mafia.

One of the things Moore and Devon, along with Linda Kellen Biegel, were quite adept at, was illegally publicizing details of the various "ethics complaints" filed against Governor Palin. In Alaska, it’s illegal to publicize this sort of thing, until the complaint is resolved. Of course, the law has no teeth.

Oddly enough, if you do this and the complaint is against any government official EXCEPT the Governor, the complaint is thrown out. But curiously, not if it’s against the Governor or their staff. Hmmmmm.

Moore and Devon, along with the rest of the Alaska Mafia made great use of this loophole, often having intimate details of the complaints published on their blogs before they were even filed!

Wonder how they were able to do that? Could it be they were the ones writing them for others to file on their behalf?

The complaints, which have all been dismissed, were for ridiculous things like being photographed holding a fish, conducting an interview in her office, receiving cookies as a "bribe," and wearing a jacket in sub-zero weather!

Linda Kellin Biegel, who was raising funds (possibly illegally) on her website so she could file more ethics complaints, herself, even concocted a conspiracy theory when Sarah went to visit her troops in Kosovo!

Even better, being the constitutional scholar that she is, Biegel, and her Mafia buddies decided that it was "unconstitutional" for Sarah Palin to talk to her troops while visiting them in Kosovo! I kid you not!

Sarah Palin, as Commander-in-Chief of the Alaska National Guard, addressed her troops giving them encouragement and support. Bringing them the best wishes from home.

Such is the depths of depravity these supreme sufferers of Palin Derangement Syndrome are capable of!

Look, the bottom line is this. Barack Obama and his many wealthy supporters know what we know. Sarah Palin is the biggest threat out there to Barack Obama, besides Barack Obama’s own incompetence. They know that she is an incredibly effective politician, see "death panels," as well as a much loved Conservative figure and leading candidate for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination. This has them scared, as it should.

Obama’s billionaire backers like Stewart Resnick and George Soros have an almost endless supply of funds they will use to go after Palin in all sorts of "creative" ways. It must be noted though, that George Soros, whose MoveOn.org claimed "ownership" of the democrat party after the 2006 elections, spent a small fortune between 2000 and 2008 trying to defeat George Bush, to no avail!

As for Levi Johnston, this guy is a flake. Thank goodness Bristol had the good sense to dump this loser. It’s really a sad commentary that this kid would disrespect his son just to make a fast buck.

Levi, a total deadbeat who hasn’t paid one red cent in child support, is the sort person society used to shun. But we are living in the times were losers like this are celebrated, not banished to the ash heap of history. See Roman Polanski, David Letterman, and Obama’s "Safe Schools Czar" Kevin Jennings.

It’s obvious Levi Johnston has no self respect. But you would think this mutt would care about his son, Tripp, enough not to make a spectacle out of himself, but that is just too much to ask, I guess. Levi’s next move is to pose for Playgirl Magazine. I wonder if anyone has told Levi that about 80 percent of the purchasers of Playgirl are gay men?

It looks like Roll Industries, Stewart Resnick, and our President, have found themselves quite the winner in "spokesmodel" Levi Johnston!

Roll International is the parent company for these fine products:

Sunkist Fruit

Teleflora, the largest flower delivery service in the world.

FIJI bottled water

POM pomegranate products.

Paramount citrus and nuts.

Suterra pest control items.

Neptune Pacific Line global shipping company

In-house advertising agency Fire Station, which pays Levi as a pitchman for Rolls' nuts.

McCain-Palin 10-08-2008 Rally Bethlehem, PA -- Devito Experience

In her hand, the Sharpie branded my shirt and engraved my heart like a green laser -- no disrespect intended towards my wife Elsy, the love of my life (I finally did replace that Pink Diamond lipstick I clipped off her to make that sign!). I want Elsy to see that last glass ceiling explode from beneath a woman's sonic boom. The moment Governor Palin branded my heart, it meant I had to engage in serious action to advance her interests. So, I did, but the 2008 campaign was really baby steps.

My Time for Choosing came the moment Obama won. The choice did not require any thought, any agonizing or any consideration: Sarah 2012.

A few of us on Team Sarah started a campaign to defend Governor Palin against smear attacks in the Anchorage Daily News and elsewhere. A steady diet of writing defense packages became disheartening, and it occurred to me that something more proactive, something more positive had to be done. Why not focus on her accomplishments and make them available to the general public? After all, on Team Sarah, I was mainly preaching to the choir. Thus, Accomplishments was born. My political action extends far beyond blogs of course and I’ve gotten my hands into lots of things with lots of people since that day. I am an introvert, but this work unlocked an extroverted side that I never knew existed within me.

My life’s journey since this moment has been quite interesting to say the least in good and not-so-good ways. But, even the bad ultimately turned or will turn good. To steal Governor Palin’s quote, “It’s all good.”

Her life’s journey since the moment she branded my heart has been nothing short of inspirational:

Master List of Governor Palin's 2009 Accomplishments

Palin Turns Down RPI Fundraiser, Pawlenty Up

By Shane Vander Hart

Here in Iowa we practically trip over presidential candidates, it’s part of the state’s charm, if you love politics that is.  The closer to the caucus the better (or worse depending on your perspective) it gets.  Mike Huckabee has recently been in the state stumping for Bob Vander Plaats.  Last week possible contender Rick Santorum came to Iowa.  Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty is coming next month to headline the Republican Party of Iowa’s fundraising dinner called “Leadership for Iowa.”  Pawlenty seems to be positioning himself for a run in 2012:

Last week Pawlenty, who is not running for re-election next year, opened a national leadership political action committee and unveiled a team of national political advisers that suggest the Midwestern governor is eyeing a 2012 presidential bid.

Among those advisers are Iowans Sara Taylor and Terry Nelson, who were key advisers to President George W. Bush’s 2000 and 2004 campaigns.

Pawlenty has also built up goodwill among some GOP activists in Iowa, where he campaigned for 2008 GOP presidential nominee John McCain, including before the leadoff nominating caucuses when the Arizona senator’s campaign teetered on financial collapse.

He wasn’t RPI’s first choice.  Chairman Matt Strawn had invited Sarah Palin originally for this dinner or any other event she’d like to have.  Essentially an open invitation to come to Iowa.  Politico reports that her spokesperson, Meg Stapleton said the timing was too difficult.

Palin adviser Meg Stapleton said the former governor is still interested in a visit to the Hawkeye State, but that they couldn’t fit the dinner in.

"With the Governor's accelerated book schedule and other travel obligations, the timing was just too difficult to make a firm commitment,” Stapleton said, adding, “We look forward to another opportunity."

And I know that many of us would love to have her, as she was well received the last time she was here.  With her book, Going Rogue: An American Life coming out on November 17 it’s already #1 at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.  It is already a best seller at Borders and in the top 50 for pre-orders (they don’t rank as far as I can tell).  That may incite (or quash) speculation about her intentions in 2012.  Regardless, I hope she’ll include Des Moines on a book signing tour.

Thou Shall Not Lie: A Post by Conservative Girl with a Voice

The pre-order sales for Sarah's memoir "Going Rogue: An American Life" are phenomenal and truly out-of-this-world amazing. This tells you a lot about how much Sarah truly has captured the hearts and minds of Americans across the country. Americans are not the only individuals who are captivated by this woman, for I know people from across the globe who cannot wait to receive their copy of her memoir. While so many of us are excited about reading her memoir, many on the extreme liberal left are illustrating the hate they have for Sarah in the most ridiculous, outrageous ways. On today's random thought, I wanted to share with you one such instance.

The other night, I was channel surfing and landed on the oh-so-far-and-balanced MSNBC. Keith Olbermann's show was on. I usually don't waste my time watching this loon's liberal propaganda and hate fest directed at the right, but when I saw Sarah's picture on the screen, I knew I had to see his latest stunt for myself. Olbermann, whom I think vaguely resembles a skinny Barney Frank, was discussing the sales of Sarah's memoir when he made the most ridiculous statement that I had ever heard come out of his uncouth mouth. He had the audacity to accuse, as he put it, "right-wing extremist" blogs and websites of buying mass quantities of Sarah's memoir so the memoir could stay on the various best- sellers' lists. This isn't all he said. Olbermann went on to accuse these sites of drastically slashing the price of the memoir just so it sells. Can you believe this garbage? Just when you think this network and its liberal slime journalists couldn't get anymore tacky and tasteless, they degrade themselves even more.

So let me get this straight: Olbermann doesn't think Sarah's memoir is being bought by normal Americans like you and me at the high rate being reported? His only explanation for why the memoir is doing as well as it is, is because of conservative websites? What a crazy creep! Sarah was so right when she called him "evil." This guy is so obsessed with everything Sarah that he makes stuff up as he goes along. I wouldn't be surprised if he reports Sarah was abducted by aliens during one of his show's this week. The only reason he talks about Sarah is because the mere mention of her name gives him a rating's boost. I guess he hasn't gotten the memo that not too many people are watching his lousy program night after night. He is jealous of Sarah- pure and simple. Although he hates and despises her, he cannot help but talk about her. I actually saw a poll recently that showed the majority of stories discussed on his program are about Sarah. How ironic? This is a man who has based his entire news career on attacking and belittling conservatives. How can a man like Olbermann sleep at night when he knows the majority of his reporting is based upon lies? Maybe it's because he doesn't have any morals. Perhaps it's because he has a low self-esteem and finds enjoyment in tearing other people down. With this said, I find it comical that a guy who started his career behind the sport's desk is now the news' version of Bozo the Clown. Not only does Olbermann, or Odormann or whatever his name is, act like a lunatic night after night, but he never ceases to amaze me.

When looking at Olbermann and Sarah, it is clear to see who is not only more trustworthy, but morally ethical. Sarah's name does not deserve to be put into the same sentence with a deranged individual like Olbermann. Not only is she much more of a class act, but she is funnier too. Sarah knows how to tell a joke, while Olbermann is simply the butt of jokes. Sarah is classy and eloquent, while Olbermann is sleazy and unstable. While Sarah is respected and admired by members of all political parties, Olbermann is hated and loathed by those in the middle and on the right. Man, it must really feel good to be Keith Olbermann, right? I mean who wouldn't want to be a guy who has based his entire career on yellow journalism?

In closing, I am so excited that Sarah's memoir is selling so many copies. Was there ever a doubt, though? Look at Sarah; look at her amazing life story. What accomplishments does Keith O. hold? Uh, darn... I cannot think of a single accomplishment. Oh, well we always have Sarah who not only cleaned up the corruption in her state, but has inspired a nation. It must really eat Olbermann up to see a woman make a living off telling the truth when his living is based upon reporting untruths. But, then again, that's the extreme liberal left for you; they're incapable of telling the truth.

Drill, Baby, Drill! My analysis on why Sarah is talking Energy on FaceBook.

by Upinak
The Palination -- http://www.thepalination.com

You gotta love when Sarah does a slam dunk on FaceBook. Especially concerning energy!

But let’s be frank and get down to the punch real quick. A few years ago, some Middle Eastern nations said that they did not want to use the American dollar vs. the cost of a bbl of oil and were only going to use the British sterling which has been done before. And this from the Independent was in interesting find and something I had but recently forgotten.  Please click on link, but the emphasis is mine on this paragraph.

Per The Independent:

Iran announced late last month that its foreign currency reserves would henceforth be held in euros rather than dollars. Bankers remember, of course, what happened to the last Middle East oil producer to sell its oil in euros rather than dollars. A few months after Saddam Hussein trumpeted his decision, the Americans and British invaded Iraq.

Opps, do these countries forget so quickly?  I think so.  By the way, this Independent article was published Oct. 6th, 2009.  People ARE paying attention!

You will also not hear that in the news at this moment in time as the MSM will not bring it up to light. I have a link on how the “devaluation” of the world oil industry rates matter with actual graphs of how different exchanges do. But I want you to keep in mind this last paragraph in the study. Emphasis mine.

Middle Eastern Economic Survey:

V. Conclusions

Dollar depreciation reduces activities in upstream through different channels including increased cost, higher inflation rates, lower purchasing power, and lower return on investment. Dollar devaluation increases oil demand in countries with appreciated currencies because of an increase in purchasing power. It also increases the demand for gasoline in the US as Americans spend their summer vacations driving in the US. Large dollar devaluation reduces the supply of oil and increases the demand for oil. Therefore, oil prices will stay high for a longer period than analysts expect.

Three more conclusions are relevant to future research. Studies that focus on the elasticity of demand for oil must use oil prices denominated in national currencies, not in US dollars. Studies that focus on the relationship between energy prices and economic growth must use oil prices denominated in national currencies, not in US dollars. Finally, exchange rates may explain several issues in international energy markets that researchers have been not able to determine or agree on.

Interesting how the MSM also doesn’t talk about this either, yet Sarah Palin in a little over 3 paragraphs is showing the problem of the economic impact of our American Dollar and the impact on Americans. But does Obama care? No. And right now, those Nations (France, Japan, and a few Middle Eastern Countries) are saying they did not have this little "talk".

But how do we take care of this? Well Russia did some interesting things in 2003, which I don’t recommend any sane country do. What did they do you ask? Russia seized the oil companies across their Nation, and bankrupted them, and then used the oil revenue as well as the natural gas in which they sold to various nations and paid off ALL of their debt in about three years. I am not saying that we should do the same. But if we do more domestic oil production for our own use, it may help us, as in America, in the long run.

With the little bit of history that I have given you, the best defense is to be our own propietor and business.  Pay back our debt to those countries we owe and become quiet and watch the others hawkishly.  I am not talking Ron Paul shut the world out scenario.  What I mean is watch and only talk when asked and not give opinion.  The best defense against speaking out is to not speak at all.

So what do we do?  That is the question that you need to answer yourself.  I have given you some information that the normal American doesn't pay attention too or simply over looked.  Now what you do with it or research on your own is all up to you.

What I recommend.  Drill, Baby, Drill!

HarperCollins: Only One Version of Going Rogue

By Adrienne Ross - www.motivationtruth.com

(H/T PalinUpdates on Twitter)

FYI: In case you heard and believed the rumor that there would be a separate Christian version of Going Rogue, U.S. News and World Report cleared that up yesterday in "No Separate Christian Version of Sarah Palin Memoir Planned," by Dan Gilgoff.

News reports that Sarah Palin is planning a separate Christian version of her forthcoming memoir, Going Rogue, are false, according to her publisher, HarperCollins. The reports were so widely circulated that they appear to have caused confusion at Zondervan, a Christian publisher owned by HarperCollins, where the director of publicity said yesterday that a special Christian edition of the book had been planned but was scrapped because of the expedited timetable for the book's release.

Reports about a special Christian edition of Palin's memoir included a long Vanity Fair profile on Palin last summer, which said that her memoir was to be published "not only by HarperCollins but also in a special edition by Zondervan, the Bible-publishing house, that may include supplemental material on faith."

[...]

In an interview yesterday, Zondervan publicity director Karen Campbell said that a separate Christian edition had been planned but that "when the release date was moved up, they left it as the same version."

In an E-mail message today, Campbell said she misspoke. "Zondervan never planned on publishing a separate Christian edition of Going Rogue with supplemental material," she said. "From what I understand, it was misreporting."

All that Governor Palin intends to share will be found in Going Rogue: An American Life, already a best-seller. So pre-order yours today at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or Borders.
